The event brought together teachers, students, and school staff in a celebration filled with learning, fun, and appreciation for the important role of women in society.

The celebration began with a parade where participants proudly walked around the school grounds showing their support for women’s rights, equality, and empowerment. Students and teachers joined the activity with enthusiasm, making the parade lively and inspiring.

One of the highlights of the event was the symposium featuring Ms. Marymae Torayno as our resource speaker. She shared valuable insights about the importance of women’s empowerment, gender equality, and the role of women in shaping a better community. Her message encouraged students and participants to respect, value, and support women in all aspects of life.

In celebration of Dental Health Month on February 26, 2026, Cadayonan Integrated School conducted another meaningful WASH in School (WinS) Program activity for Kindergarten to Grade 3 learners.

The initiative was led by Sir Roldan Lomuntad and Mrs. Maryflor Pagara, WINS Coordinator, in collaboration with the respective class advisers. The activity focused on strengthening pupils’ awareness of proper hygiene practices, particularly correct toothbrushing and handwashing techniques.

Through guided demonstrations, the young learners were taught the step-by-step process of brushing their teeth properly—brushing in gentle circular motions, reaching all tooth surfaces, and brushing for at least two minutes. The facilitators also explained how daily toothbrushing prevents cavities, eliminates bad breath, and protects overall health.

The activity was both educational and engaging, allowing pupils to practice what they learned. This initiative reflects the school’s continued dedication to promoting health, sanitation, and lifelong hygiene habits among its learners.
