The College of Engineering is pleased to announce the Ring Hopping & Necklacing Ceremony✨, a meaningful tradition symbolizing commitment, unity, and academic excellence.

This significant event will take place on March 5, 2026, from 1:00–5:00 PM at the Liceo Civic Center, marking an important milestone in the academic journey of our Engineering students.

We look forward to commemorating this memorable occasion with pride, honor, and dignity.

MGA KA-EE the long wait is OVER! The IIEE LDCUSC Electrical Engineering Days will be held on 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝟐𝟎–𝟐𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, featuring exciting and competitive games such as 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐳 𝐁𝐞𝐞, 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐬, 𝐁𝐚𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧 , 𝐁𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬, 𝐃𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭. You can still join even if you don’t have much time—everyone is welcome to participate and enjoy this event that brings fun, teamwork, and the true spirit of Electrical Engineering together.

The Institute of Integrated Electrical Engineers (IIEE) – LDCU Student Chapter successfully implemented the Solar Street Light Installation Project at Sitio Macao, Barangay Tagpangi, Cagayan de Oro City. This project was undertaken as part of the chapter’s commitment to community extension and sustainable development, providing an environmentally friendly lighting solution for an area with limited access to conventional electrical services. Through the use of solar energy, the project promotes renewable power utilization while showcasing the practical application of electrical engineering knowledge in real-world community needs.

The installation of the solar street light aims to improve safety, visibility, and overall quality of life for the residents, especially during nighttime. This project also served as a valuable hands-on learning experience for student members, strengthening their technical skills, teamwork, and sense of social responsibility. The IIEE–LDCU Student Chapter continues to uphold its mission of empowering communities through innovative, sustainable, and service-oriented engineering projects.

The IIEE – LDCU Student Chapter will be conducting the PACUCOA Accreditation Orientation for Electrical Engineering students on January 7, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at AVR 3.

This activity aims to orient students on the importance of PACUCOA accreditation in ensuring quality education and academic excellence. 𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐁𝐒𝐄𝐄 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐔𝐂𝐎𝐀 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞.

The IIEE LDCU Student Chapter warmly invites all Electrical Engineering students and faculty to our General Assembly & EE Holiday Celebration. This gathering aims to provide important updates, strengthen unity within the organization, and celebrate the achievements we have shared throughout the year.

𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐞, 𝐃𝐫𝐞𝐰 𝐃𝐞r𝐡𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐫

The IIEE LDCU Student Chapter extends its deepest condolences on the passing of Drew Derhin Betaizar, an Electrical Engineering student of Liceo de Cagayan University. We are truly saddened by this loss, and our hearts go out to his family, friends, and the entire Liceo EE community during this difficult time.

Drew will be remembered not only for his dedication to his chosen field, but also for the light and positivity he brought to those around him. May his soul find eternal peace, and may those he left behind find comfort, strength, and healing.

To the family and loved ones of Drew, please know that the entire IIEE LDCUSC stands with you in prayer and sympathy.
