JHS Licean Bags 3rd Place in the 4th BCBP Oratorical Contest

The Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals (BCBP) hosted its 4th Oratorical Contest on November 7, 2025, at the Mallberry Suites Hotel, highlighting the vital message of integrity.

Carrying the inspiring theme “Be Honest: A Perspective from a New Generation,” the event continued the BCBP’s advocacy through its renowned Be Honest Campaign, promoting the timeless principle: “Be honest even if others are not, even if others will not, even if others cannot.”

Representing Liceo de Cagayan University Junior High School, Samantha Marie T. Calagsing, a Grade 10 student under the mentorship of Ms. Anjenet G. Labor, competed against 12 private schools across the city. Delivering a powerful and heartfelt oration, Samantha eloquently captured the spirit of honesty and integrity among today’s youth, earning an impressive 3rd Place finish in the competition.
