"Building Relationship With Others"
Relationships with other people are critical to our mental and emotional well-being, as well as our survival as humans. Humans have an innate urge to be in close proximity to other people in order to interact and form connections. While a man alone on an island chatting to a volleyball isn't necessarily healthy, his need for company is. Because solid connections, whether romantic, friendship, or family, can help people live longer and healthier lives.
According to Northwestern Medicine Psychologist Sheehan D. Fisher, PhD, a relationship expert, social support is a really fundamental element of being a human, and when social ties break down or are harmed, it can have a huge influence on our mental health and well-being. And it shouldn't be limited to a single relationship. It's critical not to put too much emphasis on attempting to achieve everything you require from a single relationship. Instead, focus on building a social support network that includes a number of different forms of relationships, ranging from romance to friendship to associate, to maintain your well-being and quality of life.
Any two people who support, encourage, and aid each other practically as well as emotionally can have a healthy connection. Healthy communication is the most vital aspect of a happy relationship. Healthy relationship communication should feel like you're not talking to yourself. When interacting with someone, try to grasp where they're coming from and how they see the world. Be open to hearing something that contradicts what you already believe to be true. Finally, pay attention without planning a rebuttal or response.
