With hearts full of purpose, ten volunteers from the Philippine Nursing Students' Association (PNSA) - Liceo de Cagayan University, guided by the ever-dedicated Mrs. Arlyn B. Celestial, RN, MN, MAN, joined hands with the Misamis Oriental Physicians-Nurses Foundation Inc. (MOPNFI) in their mission to bring essential healthcare services closer to the community.

Through this collaborative effort, we successfully provided free breast and cervical cancer screenings to 47 patients.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Barangay 17 Council, led by Chairman Kap. Anthony Atterviry, and the Barangay 15 Council, represented by Kagawad Ma'am Darlene Soriano. We also deeply appreciate the unwavering support of Dr. Caroline Orimaco and the dedicated team from the NMMC OB-GYNE Department.

Special thanks go to the Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) from Barangays 15 and 17, with Ma'am Charlotte Ytem, for their invaluable contributions to this initiative.

As one, we bridge the gap between hope and health, bringing care closer to the heart of our community. A heartfelt thank you to Mopnfi Mis Or for leading this initiative and inspiring us to create meaningful change. May everyone involved be richly blessed for their efforts and dedication!

𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀, 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗵!

On July 13, 2024, the officers of 𝐋𝐃𝐂𝐔 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬’ 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 joined forces with Misamis Oriental Physicians-Nurses Foundation Inc. (MOPNFI) and Oro Integrated Cooperative (OIC). Special thanks to Dr. Malou Seriña Gaane and her dedicated team, the Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society Inc. (POGS) Northern Mindanao, and the compassionate medical staff of J.R. Borja General Hospital’s OBGyne Department & OPD.

United, the 𝐋𝐃𝐂𝐔-𝐏𝐍𝐒𝐀 team provided free breast and cervical cancer screening services to 52 patients. These services included Pap smears, breast examinations, and Visual Inspection with Acetic Acid (VIA) screenings at the OPD consultation area. Our hearts were filled with compassion, and together, we made a significant impact on our community.
