Securing a spot in the Top 20 was not an easy feat, as it requires hard work and perseverance. On April 20, 2024, their paper titled "Pita Pockets: A Feasibility Study" was recognized as one of the most outstanding work among the ABM Strand. Their dedication, resilience, and teamwork have been important in this journey. It all started with a crucial decision to shift their focus only three days before the proposal deadline, demonstrating their commitment to excellence. Instead of settling for mediocrity, they chose to challenge themselves with a more ambitious research topic, thereby establishing the pace for their journey. Despite the typical conflicts that arise in group work, they remained united in their goal of writing the best research paper.

Grade 12 - ABM 1 is hosting a symposium on Media and Information Literacy on April 22, 2024, from 2:15 to 3:15 pm in AVR 3 with the theme: "Bridging Filipino Perspectives on Being a Media and Information Literate Individual."

In a world where information continuously flows, and media platforms shape our perceptions, the need for media and information literacy becomes ever more pressing. However, understanding media and information literacy through the lens of Filipino perspectives adds a unique layer of complexity and richness. It's about acknowledging our cultural heritage, our values, and our diverse experiences as Filipinos. By bridging these perspectives, we not only enhance our ability to navigate the digital landscape effectively, but also strengthen our sense of identity and collective empowerment as a nation.

In today's digital age, knowing how to handle the flood of information and media is crucial. As you navigate through the various types of information and media in your daily lives, it's important to not only understand them but also to think critically about them. Research? Defended! 💪

With tears in their eyes and joyful smiles, the respective Feasibility Study groups of Grade 12 - ABM 1 has successfully defended their papers! Their journey may have faced frustrations, fatigue, and tears, yet leadership and teamwork has been evident in the entire defense undertaking. Your outstanding research defense served as a real tribute to your diligence, commitment, and fortitude. A day that will never be forgotten, and a huge congratulations to all of the Grade 12 - ABM 1 groups!

The class would also like to express their sincere gratitude to Mr. Shandon Ryan Y. Ganzan, their research adviser, for his unwavering support and constant sharing of his experience and knowledge that allowed them to successfully overcome and complete this endeavor. April is a busy month for the Grade 12 students at Liceo de Cagayan University-Main Campus as this month marks their defense period, a time of compiling and completing all their tasks and responsibilities to ensure their graduation for the year 2023-2024 without any extensions. One of their preparations is their upcoming final defense. As the Grade 12 ABM 1 student prepares for their upcoming defense, it is evident in these pictures that they are diligently engaged in the preparation process. We would like to share these pictures of them before the defense and will see how things work after the defense. We extend our best wishes to them for a Research Defended and manifesting that all of them can graduate and will not expect a season 2 here at this beloved university.
