Xavier Ateneo Junior High School

Over 300 faculty, staff, and administrators of the Basic Education Cluster participated in a Socio-Emotional Learning (SEL) training program on 3 August 2026 at AVRs 1-4, Senior High School, with Ms Tessa Amita dela Cruz, PSMS Loreto G Edulsa, and Dr Shiela Marie Guevarra-Hocson as training facilitators.

In the Ignatian tradition, education is rooted in forming persons who know themselves, care for others, and find purpose in belonging to something greater than themselves.

By creating their class coat of arms, students cultivate pride in their Ignatian identity, strengthen relationships, and deepen their sense of belonging—essential foundations of a positive school climate and SEL.

When students know who they are, where they belong, and whom they journey with, they flourish, not only as learners, but as persons for and with others. AMDG+

Reiterating the University policy on safeguarding minors and vulnerable adults, the Xavier University Basic Education Athletics Department (XUBEAD) conducted a Policy Orientation with coaches and personnel on 2 July 2026, 4:00 PM, at the XUJHS Multipurpose Room.

We congratulate Fr Mars on his reappointment as President of Xavier University.

May God continue to bless and guide his leadership as he leads the Xavier Ateneo community in shaping a future of excellence, service, and hope.

To future-proof the coming academic years, Xavier University Basic Education teaching community sealed its tri-term plans and completed its strengthened SHS curriculum from 25 to 26 May 2026 at the AVRs1-4, as part of its continuing in-service training series.
