Lourdes College proudly congratulates Ms. Gianna Marie Tagod from the Senior High School Department for placing Top 5 Philippine National Chemistry Olympiad Qualifier during the 25th Philippine National Chemistry Olympiad Regional Eliminations – Region X, held at Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan last February 28, 2026.

We are also proud to share that Lourdes College, Inc. is among the Top 5 schools in Region X that qualified for the National Level, together with the following institutions:

Today, we celebrate the day the light of Christ first touched the soul of our beloved Mother Ignacia del Espiritu Santo🕊️✨

On her Baptismal Anniversary, we remember how a simple "Yes" to God’s grace blossomed into a legacy of faith, humility, and service. Through the waters of baptism, she began a journey that would pave the way for the Religious of the Virgin Mary (RVM) and inspire generations of faithful Filipinos.

May we, like Mother Ignacia, remain "courageous in faith and humble in service."

Her baptism shaped a life of steadfast faith, prayer, and selfless service, particularly supporting women in their spiritual journey. Through her courage and trust in God, she inspired others to live faithfully, and her legacy of compassion continues to thrive.

This anniversary reminds us to renew our own commitment to follow Christ, embracing humility, patience, and love in our daily lives. May Mother Ignacia’s example encourage us to rely on God’s grace as we grow in faith and service to others.

HAPPENING NOW | 3RD RVM-EMC Research Congress

The search for transformative solutions begins today! Lourdes College is proud to serve as the host institution for the 3rd RVM-EMC Research Congress, happening this day and tomorrow!

Under the theme, “Rooted in Ignacian Spirituality: Advancing Technology and Research for Transformative and Sustainable Futures,” delegates from RVM schools nationwide have gathered here in Cagayan de Oro. This two-day event is a vibrant platform where faith meets innovation, bringing together mission-oriented scholars to share technology-driven and research-informed solutions aligned with global development goals.

Today we commemorate the 40th anniversary of the EDSA People Power Revolution — a powerful reminder that when ordinary citizens stand together with courage, unity, and faith, extraordinary change becomes possible.

Four decades ago, millions of Filipinos filled EDSA, not with weapons, but with prayers, hope, and an unshakable belief in democracy. The world witnessed a peaceful revolution that restored freedom and proved that the true power of a nation lies in its people.

As we honor this historic moment, may we continue to uphold the values it stood for — justice, integrity, compassion, and active citizenship. Let us pass on to the next generation the story of bravery and solidarity that shaped our nation’s future.

May the spirit of People Power live on in our hearts and actions every day. 🇵🇭

Following the call of the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) and CBCP Episcopal Commission on Catholic Education (ECCE), declaring February 25, 2026, as an academic holiday in commemoration of the 40th Anniversary of Edsa People Power Revolution.

Lourdes College announces that there will be no classes at all levels. The institution honors the power of peaceful change and the enduring spirit of democracy.

School operations will resume on February 26, 2026.
