Just a random appreciation post these SNED pupils. Some are now reading sentences (comprehension takes time, but they try so hard!), while others are working on fine motor skills through clay and tracing, especially our kids with ASD and physical disabilities.

Im also continuously guiding them with their behaviors, as some can easily get triggered. It’s a work in progress for all of us, but their effort and hard work just make me proud!

🎒 Safe School, Positive Day!
We had our routine bag inspection earlier today in our SNED class. We are happy to say that everything went well, and it was safe and orderly. Thank you so much to our SNED students for cooperating! No prohibited items were found, and all bags are cleared.

One of our SNED learners in the 3rd Session (High School Age) learned how to assemble an electric fan as part of his life skills activity. He successfully assembled it and was very happy with his achievement. We are proud of him! 💙

Thank you, SM SM Store SM Appliance Center SM Cagayan de Oro for donating the electric fan. It keeps our classroom cool and helps our learners.

Last Tuesday, June 23, we conducted an earthquake drill at Upper Carmen Elementary School. We are so proud of our SNED learners for their quick and active participation during the drill. A big thank you to our parent volunteer caregiver from Intellicare - CDO Branch for the support and assistance. Together, we continue to keep our school safe and prepared. 💙🏫
