DepEd Tayo Youth Formation- Misamis Oriental

By virtue of Division Memorandum No. 025, s. 2023, DepEd Misamis Oriental- School Governance and Operations Division through the Youth Formation Unit and Division Federation of the Supreme Pupil Government and Supreme Student Government officially launches this Division-wide Advocacy Campaign on Strengthening the Socio-Emotional and Mental Health Among Learners dubbed as ATE Y and KUYA F: Your Online Amiga and Amigo.
ATE Y AND KUYA F: Your Online Amiga and Amigo is a page created by the Youth Formation Unit wherein learners can message their concerns and can serve as an “online friend” to anyone without judgment and prejudice, guided with the purest intention of peer supporting learners in pursuit to reinforce and fortify the following facts and aspects, to wit:
1. With the holistic and total development approach, DepEd Misamis Oriental believes that while bracing on the academic prowess of the learners, their socio-emotional and mental health are of equal importance and significance.
2. Ate Y and Kuya F will serve as their “virtual friend”.
3. Ate Y and Kuya F: Your Online Amiga and Amigo shall serve as an online repository of messages from learners and shall be administered by the Youth Formation Unit. All information received shall be treated with utmost confidentiality.

LOOK: Misamis Oriental Delegates for Philippine Youth Convergence 2022 have witnessed the beautiful ending of the first ever PYC journey. The closing program was attended by DepEd Secretary Leonor M. Briones. Further, MisOr student leaders have met the Region X Regional YTF Coordinator, Dr. Jean Loquillano.

These few days have created a beautiful impact to these young leaders. PYC is a venue where they can freely have a discourse on relevant matters that the young people should address. Hoping that this is not the end of their journey in making better changes in this world, but rather a beginning in making this universe a better place.
