HOLIDAY ADVISORY

April 9, 2026, Thursday, is declared a Regular Holiday in observance of Araw ng Kagitingan (Day of Valor) as per Proclamation 1006 s. 2025.

Classes and office transactions are suspended on this day. Regular classes and office operations will resume on Friday, April 10.

Araw ng Kagitingan marks the anniversary of the Fall of Bataan on April 9, 1942. On this day, more than 76,000 Filipino and American soldiers, weakened by hunger and illness, surrendered to the Japanese forces. They were then subjected to the brutal Bataan Death March, where around 3,000 prisoners died, with an additional 25,000 to 30,000 perishing in captivity. This holiday pays tribute to all Filipino veterans, particularly those who fought during World War II.

Let us take a moment to remember and honor their sacrifices.

RESURRECTION SUNDAY! 🌅

Today, we celebrate the glorious resurrection of Jesus Christ, a powerful reminder of hope, victory, and new life. His resurrection affirms God’s promise of salvation and the triumph of light over darkness. May this Resurrection Sunday fill our hearts with renewed faith, joy, and gratitude as we embrace the promise of new beginnings.

HOLY SATURDAY! 🌿

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast."

Holy Saturday invites us into a moment of quiet reflection and hopeful waiting. As we remember the time between Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection, we are reminded that salvation comes through God’s grace and our faith in Him.
