Our School Head, Dr. Anna Lou Recaña , together with Ma’am Genevieve Rabusa , joined the 1st Monday Flag Raising Ceremony at Barangay Lumbia in observance of the first Monday of the month.

SCHOOL MONITORING VISIT | S.Y. 2026–2027
Baluarte Elementary School warmly welcomed PSDS Dr. Sylvio C. Carciller during his School Monitoring Visit and Technical Assistance held last Friday.
Together with our School Head, Dr. Anna Lou B. Anna Lou Recaña , and our Master Teacher ma'am Janice Edrolin Gonzales, the activity focused on providing technical assistance on Reading, Literacy, and Numeracy, the implementation of the General Class Program, and other important matters concerning the Three-Term School Calendar.
The visit served as a valuable opportunity to strengthen instructional practices, enhance school programs, and provide professional guidance to ensure the effective implementation of DepEd initiatives. Through collaborative discussions and technical assistance, the teaching personnel gained meaningful insights that will further improve the quality of teaching and learning.
Baluarte Elementary School extends its heartfelt appreciation to our PSDS Dr. Carciller for his continued guidance, support, and commitment to helping our school achieve excellence in delivering quality basic education.

✨📚1ST LEARNING ACTION CELL (LAC) SESSION | S.Y. 2026–2027 💙
In line with Department of Education Order No. 35, s. 2016, the Learning Action Cell (LAC) is institutionalized as a powerful school-based professional development strategy that promotes continuous learning, collaboration, and professional growth among teachers.
Baluarte Elementary School successfully conducted its 1st Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session under the leadership of our School Head, Dr. Anna Lou Recaña , who also served as the LAC Resource Speaker.
Her topic was about the "SIP Alignment with the Quality Basic Education Development Plan (QBEDP) cm OPCRF Crafting Workshop"
through her expertise and guidance, teachers gained valuable insights on SIP Alignment with the Quality Basic Education Development Plan (QBEDP) cm OPCRF Crafting Workshop, further strengthening the school's commitment to effective planning and quality education.
Through meaningful discussions and active participation, the teaching personnel reaffirmed their shared commitment to continuous professional growth, collaborative learning, and excellence in delivering quality education for every learner.

📢 Comprehensive School Safety and Security Inspection
Guided by DepEd Memorandum No. 576, s. 2026, entitled "Strengthening School Security Measures and Implementation of School Safety Protocols in All Public and Private Schools," and DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026, "Guidelines on Ensuring a Safe and Motivating Learning Environment," Baluarte Elementary School conducted a comprehensive inspection and monitoring of the school premises to assess compliance with prescribed school safety and security protocols and strengthen the implementation of the Bag Inspection Guidelines and other preventive security measures within the school.
The activity was conducted under the guidance of our School Head, Dr. Anna Lou Recaña with the inspection carried out by Sir Clark Sisto, SDRRM Coordinator, together with Sir Jonathan Estoquia. The team inspected the school entrances and exits, perimeter fence, classrooms, school buildings, emergency equipment, and other key areas to ensure that safety measures are properly implemented. The monitoring also included the observance of bag inspection procedures for learners, parents, teachers, visitors, and school personnel upon entering the school premises, in accordance with the provisions of DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026.
The inspection and monitoring activity aimed to identify potential safety and security concerns, evaluate the effectiveness of existing measures, and reinforce the school's preparedness in providing a secure, orderly, and learner-friendly environment. Through continuous monitoring and the collective efforts of the school community, Baluarte Elementary School remains committed to safeguarding the welfare and protection of every learner, teacher, school personnel, parent, and visitor.

🧑🍼💑💙 AMUMA: Parenting Symposium for a Holistic Child 💙💑🧑🍼
Baluarte Elementary School successfully conducted the AMUMA: Parenting Symposium for a Holistic Child, bringing together parents, guardians, and teachers to strengthen the home-school partnership in nurturing the holistic development of every learner.
The symposium featured insightful talks from Sir Michael Abrogar of the Community Improvement Division (CID) and Ms. Rio Rosal B. Baliling, MA, RPsy, RPm of the CSWD Psychosocial Unit. The psychosocial session was facilitated by Ms. Maryjane De Los Reyes, RPm, CHRA, making the discussions more engaging and interactive.
Though our School Head, Dr. Anna Lou Recaña , was attending an official seminar, her guidance and support remained with us throughout the successful conduct of this activity.
Special thanks to Sir Clark Daniel Sisto , Grade 6 Adviser, for initiating and organizing this meaningful symposium, to the teaching staff for their support and cooperation, and to the SK Brgy Lumbia, CDO for generously providing snacks for all participants. ♥️
