Did you know ?? πŸ’‘πŸ€”

Fire generally doesn't have a shadow because it is a source of light, not a solid object that blocks it. A shadow is formed when light is obstructed; because fire produces its own light, it allows light to pass through its hot, gaseous, and low-density structure. However, fire can cast a faint shadow if a much brighter light source is present.

β€œStomach acid is strong enough to dissolve stainless steel”.

Yes, it is scientifically accurate that human stomach acid is strong enough to corrode and, over time, dissolve certain types of stainless steel and other metals, such as razor blades.

Based on laboratory studies and scientific data: πŸ‘©β€πŸ”¬πŸ‘¨β€πŸ”¬πŸ§ͺπŸ”¬

Stomach Acid Strength: The human stomach contains hydrochloric acid (HCl), which typically has a pH of 1 to 2, similar to the acidity found in car batteries.

Experimental Evidence: A study published in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (1997) found that in a laboratory setting (simulated gastric juice), razor blades lost roughly 37% of their mass within 24 hours. Another study noted that thin stainless steel objects can start to break down in 24 hours, though complete dissolution takes much longer.

Limitations: While gastric acid can break down thin metal, it cannot typically dissolve thicker objects like coins within their short residency time in the stomach.

Safety Warning: Despite this, ingesting metal is extremely dangerous, as it can cause fatal perforations or blockages in the digestive tract long before the acid dissolves it.
