Today, on the Feast of St. Dominic of Osma, our Grade 12 – St. Dominic of Osma section gathered in prayer and thanksgiving through today’s Eucharistic Celebration, honoring the patron saint whose life continues to inspire us to seek God through faith, truth, prayer, and service.

St. Dominic de Guzmán, a Spanish priest and founder of the Order of Preachers, was known for his deep life of prayer and his zealous mission to proclaim the Gospel. As a canon of the Cathedral of Osma, he became a model of how contemplation can lead to meaningful action and service. His life reminds us that faith is not meant to remain within us, it is meant to be shared and lived.

And so, the celebration of our young Dominicans does not end at the altar. 🙏❤️

As they continue their journey as a section, the St. Dominic of Osma learners are also set to celebrate together and extend their gratitude through an outreach activity, transforming their devotion into compassion and their celebration into service.

May St. Dominic teach them to pray deeply, learn faithfully, speak truthfully, and serve generously, becoming young people who, like their patron saint, bring the light of Christ wherever they are called.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗦𝗥𝗖𝗕-𝗦𝗛𝗦 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜𝗙𝗣 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻

𝓣𝓸 𝓵𝓲𝓿𝓮 𝓯𝓸𝓻 𝓽𝓱𝓮 𝓱𝓸𝓹𝓮 𝓸𝓯 𝓲𝓽 𝓪𝓵𝓵, SRCB-SHS welcomed the month of August with our First Friday Mass, gathering as one community to pause, pray, and place the new month and the entire school year in God’s hands.

The celebration also marked our first Ignacian Formation Program session for School Year 2026–2027, a meaningful beginning to a year of deeper faith, reflection, and becoming more intentional in living out our calling as an Ignacian-Marian community.

As we continue this year, may we be reminded that education is not only about what we learn, but also about who we become, young people and educators formed in faith, excellence, and humble service. 💙

May this August be a month of renewed hearts, purposeful beginnings, and faithful steps forward.

As part of their commitment to faith formation and Christian service, the Grade 12 HUMSS students of St. Rita's College of Balingasag joyfully sponsored the Sunday English Mass on July 19, 2026. Together with their parents, teachers, and fellow Ritarians, the students actively participated in the Eucharistic Celebration through the liturgy, choir, offertory, and other ministries.

The Mass served as a meaningful opportunity for the graduating HUMSS students to deepen their faith, express gratitude for God's countless blessings, and entrust their future to His loving guidance as they prepare for the next chapter of their academic journey. Through this sponsorship, the students embodied the Ritarian spirit of faith, compassion, and dedicated service, living out the values of Transformative Ignacian-Marian Education.
