The Extension Managers’ Council – Negros Island Region Inc., along with Carlos Hilado Memorial State University and with support from the PASUC National Vice President for the Visayas, has just wrapped up a three-day training workshop.

From August 13 to 15, 2025, at the SUNN Hotel in Sagay City, educators from universities and colleges across the Negros Island Region gathered to learn about β€œEmpowering SUCs, LUCs, and Private HEIs for Transparent and Collaborative Impact Assessment.” The main idea was to help institutions work together to evaluate their community programs and to be more transparent about the results.

Among the participants were a team from PNU Visayas: Instr. Gerly May Garde, Asst. Prof. Jerry Ducay, and Dr. Maria Fatima Dolendo. They joined colleagues in learning from expert speakers Dr. Ricky P. Becodo and Dr. Heinz B. Gumaquil.
