🚨 PNP-CADIZ SCHOOL SIMULATION EXERCISE 🛡️

Today, August 19, 2026, CEDAR College, Inc. conducted an important PNP-CADIZ Simulation Exercise at the CEDAR Activity Area, in coordination with the PNP-Cadiz Team lead by Master Sergeant Oliver Florida.

The activity was attended by Senior High School and College students, together with faculty members, who were instructed to pause their ongoing activities and participate in the safety and security simulation beginning at 2:30 PM.

The exercise focused on strengthening the preparedness and awareness of the CEDAR community in responding to potential security emergencies, particularly in light of recent shooting incidents. Through this simulation, students and personnel were given the opportunity to practice proper responses, follow safety instructions, and understand the importance of remaining calm and cooperative during an emergency situation.

CEDAR College extends its appreciation to Master Sergeant Oliver Florida and the PNP-Cadiz Team for sharing their expertise and helping strengthen our school's safety and security preparedness.

🌟 STUDENT LEADERS OF CSO COLLEGE DEPARTMENT JOIN THE STG PHILIPPINES CARAVAN 2026 🌟

Today, August 12, 2026 (Wednesday), the officers of the CEDAR Students Organization (CSO) College department proudly participated in the Students Transformative Governance (STG) Philippines Caravan hosted by Philippine Normal University - Visayas at Balay Cadiznon, PNU Visayas, Cadiz City.

The event gathered Student Government Officers, Organization Officers, Student Leaders, and other youth representatives from Higher Education Institutions for an afternoon of learning, collaboration, and leadership development from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

Carrying the theme “PAGBAKUD: Securing the Future Through Leadership, Governance, and Service,” the caravan emphasized the importance of youth participation in strengthening communities, promoting ethical and participatory governance, and fostering resilient and responsive leadership.

Throughout the program, participants engaged in discussions and activities designed to deepen their understanding of governance as a shared responsibility, strengthen awareness of ethical leadership and accountability, enhance critical thinking on social issues, encourage volunteerism and community development, foster collaboration among student leaders from diverse academic backgrounds, and cultivate a stronger sense of social responsibility and commitment to nation-building.

CEDAR College commends our CSO officers for actively representing the institution and for taking part in initiatives that nurture leadership, civic engagement, and responsible governance. 🎉 CEDAR COLLEGE, INC. WINS 3RD RUNNER-UP IN THE SAFE NIR DIAL 911 FB DANCE CHALLENGE! 🕺🏆

CEDAR College, Inc. proudly celebrates the achievement of our talented students and performers for winning 3rd Runner-Up in the SAFE NIR DIAL 911 FB Dance Challenge, held in line with the 31st Police Community Relations (PCR) Month Celebration 2026 of the Philippine National Police (PNP).

This recognition reflects the creativity, teamwork, enthusiasm, and community spirit of our Cedarians, who actively participated in promoting public awareness, safety, and cooperation through dance and social media engagement. Their outstanding performance showcased not only their talent but also the values of discipline, unity, and positive involvement in community-based activities.

🛡️ STRENGTHENING CAMPUS SAFETY THROUGH WEEKLY BAG INSPECTION 🎒

As part of CEDAR College, Inc.'s continuing commitment to maintaining a safe, secure, and student-friendly learning environment, the Senior High School Department conducted its weekly Bag Inspection before the Flag Ceremony on the morning of July 27, 2026 (Monday).

The inspection was carried out by the school security guard in coordination with Mrs. Bella P. Balandra, School Principal, and Mr. Jomil Sismo-an, Senior High School Faculty member. Students cooperated throughout the activity as their bags were checked in an orderly and respectful manner prior to entering the school grounds.

This regular security measure is an important part of the school's safety protocols, helping ensure that prohibited or unsafe items are not brought onto campus. Through these inspections, CEDAR College continues to promote a secure learning environment where students can focus on their education with confidence and peace of mind.

The school sincerely thanks our students, parents, faculty, and staff for their continued cooperation and support in upholding campus safety. Together, we can foster a culture of responsibility, discipline, and shared commitment to the well-being of every Cedarian.

🚨 EARTHQUAKE DRILL || JULY 16, 2026 9:30 AM 🏫🌏

Today, CEDAR College, Inc. has successfully conducted its School Earthquake Drill at the CEDAR College Campus in coordination with the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO). The activity aimed to strengthen the preparedness of students, faculty, and staff in responding effectively to earthquake emergencies.

During the drill, students actively participated by practicing the proper "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure before calmly and orderly evacuating to the designated evacuation area. Faculty members and school personnel also guided the students throughout the activity, ensuring that established safety protocols and evacuation procedures were properly observed.

This drill served as an important reminder that disaster preparedness is a shared responsibility. Through regular training and continuous practice, the CEDAR community develops the knowledge, discipline, and confidence needed to respond appropriately during emergencies and help create a safer learning environment for everyone.
