The evaluation was spearheaded by Dr. May P. Pascual, Chief Education Supervisor of the Curriculum Implementation Division (CID), together with members of the division team namely Analie Lobaton, Education Program Supervisor in EsP, Maricor R. Becaro, PhD, Education Program Supervisor in English, Jovel J. Oberio, Education Program Supervisor in Science, Erah Ardo, Public Schools District Supervisor (District 7), John Carl Almodiel, Division Learning Resources Representative, and Mae Heart Felicia, Division Librarian.
The conduct of the evaluation aimed to assess the learning progress of Grade 3 learners who participated in the ARAL Program and determine their readiness to successfully complete the intervention designed to address learning gaps and strengthen foundational skills.
Simultaneously, Nilbert Magno, representative from the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD), conducted school monitoring on the ongoing implementation of the Opening Block under the newly adopted Three-Term School Calendar for School Year 2026โ2027.
Joining the monitoring activity was Jovel J. Oberio, who utilized the Curriculum Implementation Division monitoring tool to evaluate the schoolโs compliance and readiness in implementing the opening block as part of the divisionโs continuous effort to ensure effective delivery of quality education under the new academic structure.
The simultaneous conduct of these important division-led activities reflects the Department of Educationโs commitment to strengthening learning recovery programs and ensuring smooth implementation of educational reforms for the benefit of all learners.
Through these initiatives, Sewahon Elementary School continues to demonstrate its dedication to academic excellence and its active partnership with the Schools Division Office in advancing quality education for every Sewahonian learner.
