🧧Day 2 was a beautiful celebration of culture, talent, and youthful brilliance as our school came alive in red to honor the Year of the Horse.
The celebration began with a lively caravan around the campus, creating a festive atmosphere as students, teachers, and guests marched together in excitement. The formal program was smoothly led by the hosts, Ms. Ardo and Mr. Narrajos, who guided everyone through the meaningful ceremonies. The event opened with a solemn Chinese prayer, followed by the singing of the Philippine National Anthem. A warm welcome address was delivered by the principal, Sir Villalobos, expressing gratitude and emphasizing unity and cultural appreciation. The guest speaker, Ms. Jinx Necessario, then inspired the audience with a message about what Chinese New Year for and embracing traditions before the presentations officially began.
One of the most exciting highlights of the day was the special performance of the Chinese Lion Dance and the majestic Red Dragon. Their powerful movements, accompanied by the rhythmic beating of drums and cymbals, filled the campus with energy and symbolized courage, prosperity, and unity for the year ahead. The cheers of students, parents and teachers made the celebration even more unforgettable.
Our students showcased incredible performances — from graceful dances and heartfelt song numbers to meaningful cultural presentations that reflected tradition. Every child who stepped on stage carried confidence and passion, embodying the strong and spirited energy of the Horse.
The event concluded with a heartfelt closing message from Ma’am Judith, who thanked everyone for their participation and reminded the community of the strength found in unity and shared traditions.
