First Day of Work Immersion: A Step into the Real World

The first day of Work Immersion marked an exciting and meaningful transition for our learners as they stepped beyond the classroom and into real workplace environments. Filled with anticipation and enthusiasm, the students began this new chapter eager to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned in school to actual work settings.

Learners were warmly welcomed by their supervisors and orientated on workplace rules, safety protocols, and expected responsibilities. They were introduced to the organization’s culture, work ethics, and professional standards, giving them a clearer understanding of what it means to be part of a working community.

Throughout the day, students demonstrated curiosity, discipline, and a willingness to learn. Simple tasks and observations became valuable learning experiences, helping them build confidence, responsibility, and respect for teamwork and time management. Teachers and coordinators closely monitored the immersion to ensure that learners felt guided, supported, and motivated.

As the first day concluded, the students gained not only new experiences but also a deeper appreciation of the world of work. This initial exposure laid a strong foundation for personal growth, career readiness, and informed decision-making. The first day of Work Immersion was not just about starting a requirement—it was about beginning a journey toward professionalism and future success.

Day 1 of the NCAE: A Step Toward the Future

Today marked the first day of the National Career Assessment Examination (NCAE), a meaningful milestone in the journey of our learners. From the early hours of the morning, the school was filled with a mix of excitement, curiosity, and quiet determination as students arrived, ready to discover more about themselves and their future paths.

Guided by their teachers and proctors, the examinees were oriented on the procedures and reminded of the importance of the assessment—not as a measure of limits, but as a tool to help them recognize their strengths, interests, and potentials.

As Day 1 concluded, the atmosphere was filled with a sense of accomplishment. More than just an exam, the NCAE served as a guiding light—helping learners envision possibilities, make informed choices, and dream with clarity and confidence. Today, we witnessed not just test-taking, but the beginning of purposeful planning for the future.

TNHS Magsaysay Extension High School Celebrates Reading Month 2025 with “Book an Adventure” Theme

TNHS Magsaysay Extension High School successfully celebrated Reading Month 2025 with the theme “Book an Adventure,” showcasing a full day of literacy-centered activities that highlighted students’ creativity, confidence, and communication skills.

The morning session featured three major events: Oral Interpretative Reading, Read and Tell, and Storytelling, where learners demonstrated fluency, comprehension, and expressive delivery in presenting their chosen texts.

In the afternoon, the celebration continued with Character Portrayal, Declamation, and Verse Choir, giving students the opportunity to showcase dramatic performance, emotional depth, and collaborative interpretation of literary pieces.

The activity aimed to inspire students to embrace reading not only as an academic skill but as an enjoyable adventure that expands imagination and builds lifelong learning habits.

The English Department expressed appreciation to all teachers, learners, and judges who contributed to the success of the event. The day ended with enthusiastic performances and renewed motivation to promote a strong reading culture in the school community.

“Hands-on Learning for Tomorrow’s Tech Leaders”

TNHS-MEHS The 4Rs: A School-Based Seminar Workshop on Robotics “Recharge, Re-experience, Retooling and Re-echo”

On November 27, 2025, a seminar-workship on robotics was successfully conducted at TNHS-Magsaysay Ext. High School, bringing together students, teachers, and tech-enthusiasts eager to explore the rapidly evolving field of robitics. The activity was organized by the Science Coordinator, Mr. Kenneth Jay Rubillos with the aim of enhancing participants’ understanding of robotic systems and developing their hands-on skills in robot design and programming.

The program began with registration of the participants and preliminaries such as the singing of the national anthem and doxology. Sir Glenn D. Merabe, the new teacher in charge of MEHS also gave his powerful and inspirational message and talked about the growing importance of robotics in various industries. He also encouraged the participants to embrace future-ready skills. Afterwards, the Science Coordinator, Mr. Rubillos also gave a short message and introduced the speakers.

Sir Rodie Mar Articona, presented his topic “Scratch It” and Mr. Alessandro Adami talked about “Microbit”.

The second part of the program features a hands-on workshop with the invited resource speaker, Mr. Jake Salledo of Tres Andanas Elementary School, talked about Arduino Coding. The participants were grouped and provided with robotic kits. Guided by the teacher-facilitators, the attendees learned the basic of robotics.

Throughout the activity, open discussions and question and answer sessions were encouraged, allowing attendees to clarify concepts and share ideas.

Together, let’s build tye future - one robot at a time!
