The Gender and Development (GAD) Office successfully conducted a seminar entitled โ€œ๐‚๐ก๐ข๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ญ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐œ๐ฒ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐๐ฌ๐ฒ๐œ๐ก๐จ๐ฌ๐จ๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐ˆ๐ง๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ฏ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐งโ€ on April 8, 2026, at 9:00 AM, held at the SVCC Review Center.

The seminar was actively participated in by college students, making the discussion more engaging, relevant, and meaningful for everyone involved.

The activity aimed to raise awareness on the importance of protecting learners, promoting respect, and understanding how psychosocial support helps individuals who have experienced trauma.

The seminar featured our distinguished speakers ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐‰๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง ๐. ๐‡๐ž๐ซ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฌ๐š, ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐š ๐‘. ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐š๐ฌ๐ข๐ ๐š๐ง, ๐๐ซ๐จ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐จ๐ซ ๐‘๐จ๐ฌ๐ž ๐€๐ง๐ง ๐™๐ฎรฑ๐ข๐ ๐š-๐Œ๐š๐ฌ๐š, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ƒ๐ซ. ๐Œ๐š๐ซ๐ข๐š ๐‹๐ž๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ซ๐š ๐“๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐š ๐. ๐‘๐จ๐ฌ๐š๐ฅ who shared valuable insights on child protection, trauma, and how we can respond with empathy and responsibility.

More than just a seminar, it became a space for reflection reminding us that creating a safe and supportive environment starts with simple actions, respect, and awareness.

Through this initiative, the GAD Office continues to promote safe spaces and empower students to become more mindful, responsible, and empathetic individuals.

The Gender and Development Office of St. Vincent College of Cabuyao stands in solidarity with the nationwide 18-Day Campaign for a VAW-Free Philippines, advocating for a safe, just, and inclusive community where women and girls are protected, respected, and empowered.

As the Philippine Commission on Women (PCW) spearheads the national 18-day Campaign to End Violence Against Women, we call on every Filipino to move from awareness to action, from advocacy to activism, and from watchers to warriors.

This is more than an invitation; it is a shared national responsibility to ensure every woman and girl lives free from fear, abuse, and violence.

A VAW-free Philippines gives us the following signals for action:
โ€ข ๐—ฆ๐—ง๐—ข๐—ฃ violence against women. Womenโ€™s rights are human rights.
โ€ข ๐—Ÿ๐—ข๐—ข๐—ž beyond silence. Do not judge a story you donโ€™t fully know.
