Ang PNC-USG Working Students and COVID-19 Affected Students Survey ay may layong alamin ang karanasan ng mga nabanggit na sektor ng mga mag-aaral patungkol sa pagbibigay ng considerations at exemptions. Ang resulta ng survey na ito ay gagamitin sa paglilinang ng USG Bill No. 2021-001, Considerations and Exemptions Act.

"Blood Donors Month" is celebrated every July to entice people (male or female) aged 18 and above to donate their blood to sustain the country's blood supply and make blood donation more accessible to those in need.

As the first program of the newly elected officers of PNC - Red Cross Youth, we invite everyone to donate blood and be heroes of today's generation. 🤍♥️

"NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES, OTHERS DONATE BLOOD"

(PNC-RED CROSS YOUTH BLOOD DONATION PROGRAM 2021)

Date and Time: July 31, 2021 | 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Location: Centromall Cabuyao, Activity Area

Qualifications and Requirements:
✅ Generally in good health condition
✅ Age 16-65 years old (16-17 years old needs guardian's written consent)
✅ Weight: 110 lbs or 50 kgs and above
✅ Physical examination will be assessed prior to donation
✅ Note: If you have already received COVID - 19 vaccine ( First dose or Second dose ), you can only donate blood after 28 days of your vaccination.

📌Before Donation

- Have enough rest and sleep, at least 5-6 hours
-Disclose any symptom such as coughs, colds, fever, rashes or any open wounds
-Be honest about existing medical conditions, previous illnesses or medications taken
-Disclose any foreign trabel or travel to provinces within the past year
-Reveal any tattoo or ear piercing (must be 1 year from time of donation)
-Eat prior to donation, avoiding fatty foods
-Drink plenty of fluids like water or juice

📌After Donation

-Drink plenty of fluids like water or juice
-Eat healthy food
-Refrain from stooping down
-Refrain from strenuous activities like: lifting heavy objects, exercising, operating heavy machinery
-Avoid using the punctured arm in lifting heavy objects
-Apply pressure on the punctured site and lift the arm in case the site is still bleeding
-If discoloration or swelling develops on the punctured site, apply cold compress for the first 24 hours followed by warm compress for the next 24 hours
-If you feel dizzy or nauseous, lie down with your feet elevated. Loosen tight clothing and drink fluids. It should pass after a few minutes.
