1st Kumustahan Session
‘Never Give Up’
The very first Kumustahan Session was held on Sept. 14, 2018 at our Headquarters in Cabuyao, Laguna. It was attended by our strong and goal-driven awardees of HATIDEDUKASYON Batch 2018. It was an amazing opportunity to see all of them in this occasion. This "Kumustahan Session" aims to establish camaraderie among our recipients and as well as our donors, sponsors, and founding members. During this event, our recipients were able to share their experiences as they journey through education. They were able to get practical pieces of advice that will guide them as they course along in achieving their dreams. The founding Chairperson of HKEMI, Mr. Cris Capacio was deeply touched by the recipients' display of interest, perseverance and strong drive to attain what they aspire in life. " It was a humbling experience to be able to help my brethren achieve their dreams. This is a blessing for me and my family to be in a position to help our youth and to create a better life for them. Poverty is never a hindrance for as long as there are people who are generous enough to share what they have and that we have our goal- driven youth who are willing to take this opportunity to advance themselves further through education. This is the very reason why we at HKEMI must continue to touch the lives of less-fortunate Filipino youth. HKEMI will be there for as long as we have our inspired youth by our side and with some help from our generous benefactors." Widen the horizon through education.....strive to succeed...achieve your goals....envision the best for yourself....believe in yourself..... NEVER GIVE UP.

Every morning, it is my habit to read a book for 30 mins. I was struck by this verse in the book titled “Just Business”, a Christian Ethics for the Marketplace by Alexander Hill.
