CYBORG LEAGUE ROBOTICS
2024-2025

Last October 2024, Pulo National High School's Grade 10 STE-P students competed in the Cyborg League Robotics Competition at the Sta. Rosa Multi-Purpose Sports Complex! 🤖🏆 They proudly achieved 4th place against tough competition from schools across the region. 👏

We're incredibly proud of our Pulonians for showcasing their amazing skills and talent! This achievement further highlights the incredible talent within our school. ✨ Congratulations! 🎉

SCIENCE PARK (SCIENCE MONTH CELEBRATION)
2024-2025

The Science Month celebration at Pulo National High School culminated in a highly anticipated Science Exhibit on September 26, 2024. This showcase of scientific inquiry and innovation was the result of weeks of dedicated preparation by students and teachers alike. The exhibit featured a diverse range of projects, demonstrating the students' understanding of scientific principles and their ability to apply those principles creatively and innovatively. From amazing models to wonderful experiments, the exhibit provided a platform for students to share their hard work and passion for science with the wider school community. The event was a success, highlighting the school's commitment to fostering a love of science and encouraging the next generation of scientists and innovators.

Adding to the excitement of Science Month, the Grade 9 and 10 Science, Technology, Engineering Program (STE-P) students participated in a Research Congress. This event showcased a variety of student-led research projects designed to address real-world societal challenges. The students presented their innovative projects to their peers and teachers at Pulo National High School, highlighting their dedication to scientific inquiry and its practical applications.

We also celebrate the winners of the School-based Research Congress, a testament to the hard work and dedication of our Grade 9 and 10 students. Congratulations to all participants! SCIENCE MONTH
2024-2025

Pulo National High School celebrated Science Month in September 2024 with the theme "An Integrated Approach to Science and Technology for a Sustainable Future." The month-long celebration included a series of engaging events designed to foster scientific inquiry and innovation among students. These events included:

- September 18, 2024: Jingle Making Contest and Slogan Making Contest
- September 19, 2024: STEM Tokperiment ( A science-themed TikTok challenge)
- September 20, 2024: Poster Making Contest
- September 23, 2024: Battle of the Neurons ( A science quiz)

🌀Moreover, our country is located near the equator where there is warm water. Warm water is one of the requirements to form a tropical cyclone.🌀

🌬️Additionally, the tropical cyclones is usually blown into the Philippines due to the west-ward direction of the wind.🌬️

🫠Lately, the number and intensity of typhoons that we experience had increased. This is mostly due to human-induced climate change.🫠

The air crackled with excitement on September 18th as the Science Club at Pulo National High School held its annual elections. Students from every part of the school, were eager to cast their votes for the next generation of leaders. It was a day where everyone, regardless of their grade or section, came together, united by their shared passion for science.

The results were in, and a new team of officers, representing a diverse group of students, was ready to take the reins. These young leaders, showing with enthusiasm and ideas, were excited to guide the club through a year of discovery and growth. They envisioned a vibrant, inclusive community where everyone felt empowered to explore the wonders of science.

They were ready to unravel the mysteries of the universe, unlock the potential within each member, and inspire a love for science in every student. The year ahead promised a whirlwind of exciting activities, workshops, and projects, all designed to ignite curiosity and foster a spirit of exploration and innovation. It was going to be an amazing journey, and the new officers were ready to lead the way!
