St. Ignatius ROTC Unit (SIAC) completed its 15th Training Day at St. Ignatius Academy Cabuyao Campus ROTC Unit, The Opening of Cadet officers Qualifying Course and Newly Promoted Cadet officers and day started at 0600H with Cadet Officers reporting for duty. By 0800H, Cadet officers were deployed, and Basic Cadets gathered to begin their final clearance for the MS1 and by 1200H Basic Cadets along with the Cadet officers gathered up in Hongkong Village Banay-Banay for the Opening Ceremony and Donning of Ranks. This training day emphasizes the hardwork of the Cadet officers along with the COQC. The opening was nothing short of extraordinary — the unit marched in perfect synchronization, each step echoing with unity and determination. The training day taught us on how to be resilient and to formally recognize each one of us their hardwork. The opening ceremony started by the master of ceremony Sgt Jessa B Dalay PA (Res) announcing the entrance of colours for singing the National Anthem and the Invocation led by Sgt Felipe A Bedania PA (RES). Furthermore, Pvt Remegio B Barette Jr PA (RES) shared his remarkable speech and the event was also graced by 2LT FRANCIS O CASTAÑEDA PA (RES) along with 2LT JOHNVER E DOLLENTE PA (RES).
And the highlight of the event started by declaring the Opening OF COQC led by MAJ JASON G SAGAYSAY PA (RES) effective this day.
A message from the Guest of Honor and Speaker, MAJ JASON G SAGAYSAY PA (RES), emphasized the importance of the Unit in ROTC. 2LT JOHNVER E DOLLENTE PA (RES) Enlightened the cadets about their future in the ROTC, also welcomed the newly opened COQC. 2LT FRANCIS O CASTAÑEDA PA (RES) led the gifting of tokens to Pvt Remegio B Barette Jr PA (RES) and MAJ JASON G SAGAYSAY PA (RES) to show gratitude for their effort to the units pride and honor. Cadet officers also give their Gift of Appreciation to Sgt Felipe A Bedania PA (Res) for putting a lot of effort to give a new knowledge every Training Day. By 1500H After the event, the Basic Cadets and Cadettes were dismissed without any further incidents.

By 0800H, officers were deployed, and Basic Cadets gathered to begin their training. Sgt Felipe A Bedania PA (RES) led lectures on GENERAL FIRST AID and PROPER HYGIENE AND SANITATION, providing essential knowledge and skills. This training day emphasize the importance of first aid and proper hygiene, it also built the unity of the cadets by performing an actual way of rescuing a person.The day concluded with area cleanup and final instructions, leaving the unit with a sense of accomplishment and readiness for future challenges.

By 0800H, officers were deployed, and Basic Cadets gathered to begin their training. Sgt Felipe A Bedania PA (RES) led lectures on Weapon Proficiency and Introduction to Intelligence, providing essential knowledge and skills. This training day not only enhanced the cadets' understanding of key military concepts but also fostered discipline and teamwork. The cadets then applied what they learned in the MS1 Final Examination. The day concluded with area cleanup and final instructions, leaving the unit with a sense of accomplishment and readiness for future challenges.

St. Ignatius ROTC Unit (SIAC) successfully completed its 11th Training Day conducted Via Google Meet. The day focusing on essential aquatic skills. Participants engaged in comprehensive sessions covering Basic Swimming Techniques, with a strong emphasis on mastering fundamental strokes and enhancing water confidence. Notable progress was observed across the group. Crucially, the training included methods for rescuing distressed individuals using non-contact techniques such as throwing aids and extending reach assists with available equipment. Trainees learned to evaluate potential hazards, understand effective rescue maneuvers, and prioritize personal safety in diverse aquatic scenarios, all within a virtual learning environment.
