Relive the memories from the last day of Imprinta's THREAD TALKS held last July 15, 2026, at the Francisco Balagtas Auditorium. ✨

Mapúa MCL students gathered for an inspiring seminar featuring guest speakers Jay-Ar Villarojas, a video director and director of photography who shared why failure is the best teacher, and Patricia Almira, a freelance illustrator who spoke on the power of doing the work.

IN PHOTOS: On July 14, 2026, 3rd-year B.S. Computer Engineering students showcased their IC-programmed projects for their Robotics Automation and Mechatronics Technology 1 (CPE175P–1) and Computer Architecture and Organization Laboratory (CPE131-1L) courses at the Rizal Building.

Projects included a WaterStrip Robot for automated water-test strip handling, a robotic excavator with stabilized claw movement, an automatic color-sorting robot using a sensor to detect and sort objects, and a hardware-built calculator with memory and history recall.

Also presented was a capstone project titled "Wilderness Geolocation System for Off-trail Hikers Using the A* Pathfinding Algorithm" using LoRa connection, enabling real-time tracking and SOS alerts for hikers even without cellular signals—supporting search and rescue efforts in areas like Mt. Makiling.

The event underscores Mapúa MCL's commitment to advancing the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education and SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, highlighting hands-on innovation in embedded systems and robotics.

Day 1 was open to 1st-year Bachelor of Multimedia Arts students and featured talks from speakers Pepot Atienza, a multidisciplinary artist who expounds on why great stop motion begins with knowing your worth, and Wika Nadera, a visual artist who touched on the art of experimentation and self-discovery.

ADVISORY: As per Proclamation No. 1348, s. 2026, August 4, 2026 (Tuesday) has been declared a Special Non-Working Holiday in the City of Cabuyao in honor of its 14th Cityhood Anniversary.

Offices at Mapúa MCL will be closed.

Mapúa MCL's MITL graduates obtained an 81.25% passing rate in the Master Plumbers Licensure Exam. One of the passers, Engr. Alexander C. Villanueva Jr., ranked 2nd in the top ten (10) highest places. Congratulations to our passers and topnotcher!

This achievement is in line with Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education.
