Pamantasan ng Cabuyao (University of Cabuyao) joins the 126th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary celebration with the theme, “Bawat Kawani, Lingkod Bayani: Puso, Dangal, at Galing para sa Bayan.”

PhilHealth and the City Health Offices (CHO) 1 and 2 are now at PnC (UC) Main Building, 1st Floor, bringing essential health and government services closer to our university community.

𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐲𝐚𝐨 🌱

On September 15, 2026, Pamantasan ng Cabuyao (University of Cabuyao), together with the City Government of Cabuyao, Barangay Banay-Banay, Salin PH, Plastic Reboot, and NutriAsia, held a coordination meeting on the proposed Salin PH initiative to reduce single-use waste and develop local green-economy skills.

The initiative aims to promote reuse and sustainability practices within the university and the surrounding community while strengthening collaboration among academic, local government, barangay, private sector, and community stakeholders.

Through collective efforts and meaningful partnerships, Pamantasan ng Cabuyao (University of Cabuyao) and its partners continue to work toward a more sustainable, responsible, and environmentally conscious community. 🌿♻️

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON SEPTEMBER 10

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 135, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 10, 2026, in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and the cumulative effects of prolonged rainfall:

📍 Pangasinan
📍 Benguet
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Pampanga
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal

📍 Oriental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.
