Our heartfelt gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Cabusao and to Hon. Mayor Jun Aguilar for the generous support extended to the Special Program in the Arts.

We truly appreciate the newly provided equipment—a compact mixer, two sets of par lights, six panels of mirrors for our dance classes, and two sets of wireless microphones. These will greatly help our students during rehearsals and performances, giving them a better space to practice, create, and express their talents.

Your support for Arts Education inspires our young artists to continue growing and sharing their creativity. Thank you for believing in the power of the arts and for helping nurture the talents of our students.

LENS OF SUCCESS: Dionne Malate Captures 3rd Place in RSPC Photojournalism Filipino

LEGAZPI CITY, ALBAY — Dionne Vernadine A.Malate, a Media Arts student from Sta. Lutgarda NHS Special Program in the Arts 2019, has officially etched her name into the history books. In a stunning display of talent and technical skill, Malate secured the 3rd Place spot in Photojournalism (Filipino) during the recently concluded Regional Schools Press Conference (RSPC).

What makes Malate’s victory particularly remarkable is her rapid trajectory. As a first-time participant in the world of campus journalism, she defied the odds by consistently climbing the ranks: starting with a 1st Place finish at the District level, followed by a 5th Place win at the Congressional level, and finally culminating in her Regional podium finish.

Her journey has become a source of inspiration for aspiring student journalists across the province. "Your journey is only beginning," supporters noted, celebrating her passion and the "Padayon" spirit that carried her from the district halls to the regional stage. With this milestone, Malate proves that for those with a sharp eye and a dedicated heart, the perfect shot is always within reach.

The 2-day Sta. Lutgarda National High School Special Program in the Arts (SPA) School Campaign has finally commenced.

Over the course of two days, we visited five elementary schools:
Pandan Elementary School,
Camagong Elementary School,
Sta. Cruz Elementary School,
Castillo Elementary School, and
Cabusao Central School.

Selected SPA students from every specialization showcased their talents through live performances, giving the children a glimpse of what the SPA program has to offer and how it can nurture their abilities. The campaign was further enriched by the screening of short films created by former SPA students, highlighting their achievements and creative journeys. These inspiring works strongly emphasized the opportunities, growth, and excellence that the SPA program can provide to young and aspiring artists.

We are thrilled to announce that your donations funded the purchase of five (5) brand-new bandurrias for our music students! The Strings of Harmony 4-Day Rondalla Workshop has officially wrapped up, and the results are music to our ears! 🎸🇵🇭

From the first pluck of a string to a breathtaking final ensemble, our talented students have spent the last four days leveling up their craft. Under the mentorship of specialist Mr. Eugene Escalderon, these young musicians mastered:

✅ Advanced music reading
✅ The art of ensemble performance

It wasn't just about the music—it was about discipline, teamwork, and keeping the heart of Filipino culture beating loud and proud. ❤️

Warmest thanks to the Parishioner of San Bernardino de Siena special mention to Fr. Ed who initiated the 2nd collection intented to SPA RONDALLA ENSEMBLE! We're thrilled to share that this caroling event was a fund-raising effort to purchase additional rondalla instruments for our ensemble. Your hospitality and support mean the world to us!
