🔥 FIRE SQUARE ROADSHOW 2026: SAFETY LEARNING MADE FUN! 🔥

The Bureau of Fire Protection – Cabugao conducted the Fire Square Challenge in celebration of Fire Prevention Month 2026, in partnership with Pila Elementary School, bringing vital fire safety education to young learners today, March 24, 2026!

Under the shade of tall trees and inside classrooms, BFP personnel in bright orange uniforms engaged pupils through a mix of hands-on training, playful learning, and meaningful activities. The day’s activities included:

• Fire safety basics and prevention tips
• CPR demonstrations and hands-on practice
• Fire suppression using hose
• A fire-themed Snakes and Ladders game—a large floor mat activity featuring safety rules, hazard warnings, and action prompts like “FIRE! SLIDE DOWN”, making learning exciting and memorable
• A low-crawl evacuation drill, where pupils practiced crawling under strings marked with flame cutouts to simulate moving safely through smoke-filled areas
• Fun and interactive games to reinforce key lessons

After the activities, BFP personnel distributed snacks to all pupils and awarded prizes to the winners of the fire-themed Snakes and Ladders game. The young learners beamed with joy as they received their rewards, making the day even more special.A big thank you to BFP-Cabugao for equipping learners with life-saving knowledge and showing genuine care for the community as we observe Fire Prevention Month. The 3rd Mobile Force Platoon, 1st Ilocos Sur Provincial Mobile Force Company (1st ISPMFC), led a meaningful flag ceremony at Deped Tayo - Pila Elementary School this morning, March 16, 2026, fostering patriotism, discipline, and community partnership. Following the solemn raising of the Philippine flag, our uniformed partners delivered an engaging lecture on anti-bullying, empowering pupils to stand up against harm and build a kinder, safer school community. What an unforgettable Elementary Education Day at Deped Tayo - Pila Elementary School!

Our school came alive with joy as pupils, teachers, parents, and the community celebrated together.

The day started with a colorful motorcade that filled the streets with smiles and excitement. Our talented learners then amazed everyone during the field demonstration with their energy, teamwork, and vibrant formations.

The celebration ended with the much-awaited Mr. & Miss Pila ES Coronation Night . Congratulations to our newly crowned royalties for representing confidence, leadership, and true school spirit!

Thank you to everyone who helped make this day meaningful and memorable. Pila ES truly shines because of its wonderful community! ❤️
