As part of its commitment to promoting a safe and child-friendly learning environment, Cabugao Integrated School, in partnership with the Philippine National Police (PNP)–Cabugao, conducted a Student Orientation on Learners' Rights, Safety, and Protection on July 24, 2026 for Grade 7 to Grade 10 learners.

The orientation was spearheaded by PSSg Maricel Dicion, who served as the resource speaker, with PMSg Asterio Agbayani Jr. also joining the activity. Discussions centered on the prevention of bullying, cyberbullying, and harassment, emphasizing learners' rights, responsible behavior, and the importance of reporting incidents that threaten their safety and well-being.

The activity reinforced the school's continuing efforts to cultivate a secure, respectful, and inclusive learning environment through collaboration with partner agencies and community stakeholders.

Cabugao Integrated School extends its sincere appreciation to PNP–Cabugao for its valuable support and unwavering commitment to safeguarding the welfare of every learner.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | Despite the rainy morning on July 24, parents actively participated in the Oplan Taob Day and General Clean-up Drive at the school campus. Each class section was assigned a specific area to clean, demonstrating teamwork and shared responsibility. The activity aimed to provide learners with a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment as the school community continues to promote a culture of collaboration and preparedness.

Warmest congratulations to our environmental enthusiasts!

Turning trash into treasure!

We proudly congratulate Xyrose Eleine Poblacion for being the Champion in the Trash-to-Art Competition organized by the ISEE Cabugao Chapter, held on June 28, 2026, at Pug-os, Cabugao, Ilocos Sur.

She reiterated that "When we transform waste into wonders, we are not only creating art - we are creating hope for a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future."

This remarkable achievement highlights the power of creativity, sustainability, and innovation in transforming waste into meaningful works of art.

Another milestone was achieved by John Kenneth Pitas, who participated in SIRMATA: Photography Contest and earned 4th Place with his inspiring entry titled "Mula sa Lupa, Tungo sa Pangarap."

These outstanding accomplishments serve as a reminder of the importance of environmental stewardship. May they inspire each of us to become responsible caretakers of our planet and continue working together to protect and preserve Mother Nature for future generations.

✨A productive summer it is for the eager and courageous ARAL learners of Cabugao Integrated School! ✨

Today, June 02, 2026, the steadfast commitment of the ARAL learners in attending the 20-day Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning (ARAL) Summer is warmly acknowledged through a simple but meaningful culminating program.

Throughout the ARAL Summer Program, our ARAL learners have shown enthusiasm, perseverance, and a love for learning as they strengthened their reading skills and sharpened their mathematical thinking. Seeing their smiles, confidence, and progress each day reminds us that every lesson learned today helps build a brighter tomorrow.

As one CIS family, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our ever generous PTA, headed by Mrs. Annierose Marjorie P. Baclig, for providing the learners’ filling snacks during the program.

Moreover, the school would as well wish to offer sincere appreciation to Mrs. Editha S. Savellano, our school’s officer-in-charge, for providing school supplies as tokens of diligence for our ARAL learners.

𝗖𝗮𝗯𝘂𝗴𝗮𝗼 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗸𝗶𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗱𝗮 𝗘𝘀𝗸𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗮 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

Cabugao Integrated School officially launched Brigada Eskwela 2026 today through a meaningful kick-off program that brought together parents, teachers, stakeholders, barangay officials, and community partners in a shared commitment to prepare the school for the opening of classes.

The program highlighted the importance of unity and community participation in creating a safe and conducive learning environment for all learners. Messages of support and encouragement were delivered by Hon. Jerald A. Blando, Punong Barangay of Bonifacio, and Mrs. Myrna Jara, SGC Elected Co-chairperson. As Mrs. Jara shared, “Brigada Eskwela exercises our spirit of bayanihan in making our school conducive for all. Let's make CIS the best place for all our children.”

Reinforcing this commitment, stakeholders affixed their signatures on the Commitment Board, symbolizing their dedication to supporting the school's goals and initiatives throughout the Brigada Eskwela campaign.

Following the kick-off program, the true spirit of bayanihan came to life as parents, teachers, barangay and LGU officials worked hand in hand in cleaning school grounds, improving facilities, and helping ensure a safe, clean, and learner-friendly environment for all Cabugao Integrated School learners.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to the Cabugao Rural Health Unit (RHU) for their valuable services and support throughout the day's activities.

As Brigada Eskwela continues from June 1–5, 2026, we invite everyone to join us in building a better, safer, and more welcoming school for our learners.

BRIGADA ESKWELA 2026

In preparation for the opening of classes for School Year 2026–2027, DepEd Tayo Cabugao Integrated School warmly invites all education stakeholders to actively participate in the Brigada Eskwela 2026 to be conducted on June 1–5, 2026.

Brigada Eskwela is a nationwide initiative of the Department of Education that promotes community participation and shared responsibility in ensuring that our school is clean, safe, orderly, and conducive to learning. Through the spirit of bayanihan, we can work hand in hand in preparing our classrooms and school facilities for the opening of classes.

We encourage parents, alumni, barangay officials, private partners, volunteers, and all members of the community to join us in this meaningful endeavor. Your time, effort, and support will greatly help in creating a better learning environment for our learners.

Together, let us make Brigada Eskwela 2026 a success through unity, cooperation, and service for education.
