Duck , cover & hold 🚨

Daclapan Elementary School successfully conducted the 2nd Quarter National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) as part of its commitment to promoting disaster preparedness and ensuring the safety of learners, teachers, and school personnel.

An orientation on earthquake preparedness and safety measures was conducted also by Mrs. Hazel Princess Ayson, providing valuable information and reminders on the proper actions to take before, during, and after an earthquake.

Through activities like these, Daclapan Elementary School continues to strengthen its culture of safety, preparedness, and resilience for the entire school.

Daclapan Elementary School family gathers to honor and celebrate the remarkable leadership and service of Sir Gilbert A. Asuncion, who dedicated 3 years and 11 months of his career to our beloved school.

Through his guidance, commitment, and passion for education, DES has grown stronger and achieved many milestones. More importantly, DES learned a lot from him—valuable lessons in leadership, dedication, teamwork, and service that will continue to inspire us for years to come.

Daclapan Elementary School warmly welcomes the return of Ma’am Belinda Salarzon, a true friend and supporter of our school and learners.

During her visit, Ma’am Belinda shared her commitment to continue helping the learners of Daclapan Elementary School and expressed her promise to further improve and upgrade our covered court for the benefit of the entire school community.

Joining her were from Canada—Anna Mathison, Josie, and Ruby—who generously shared snacks and brought smiles to all 272 learners of Daclapan Elementary School.

Your kindness, generosity, and unwavering support inspire us all. Thank you for choosing to be part of our learners’ journey and for helping make our school a better place for every child.

Daclapan Elementary School officially opens its doors for the School Year 2026–2027, warmly welcoming 272 learners as they begin another exciting journey of learning, growth, and success.

The school is grateful to the parents, teachers, stakeholders, and partners who continuously support our learners and help create a safe, nurturing, and learner-friendly environment. As we embark on this new school year, may we continue to work together in providing quality education for every child.

This opening of classes was also marked by a heartfelt farewell message from our beloved School Principal, Sir Gilbert Asuncion, who expressed his gratitude to the pupils, parents, teachers, and stakeholders for their unwavering support and cooperation throughout his leadership. He encouraged everyone to continue striving for excellence and to uphold the values and vision of Daclapan Elementary School.

As Sir Gilbert bids farewell, he officially announced that Ms. Celina Rambungga will serve as the Teacher-In-Charge of Daclapan Elementary School for the meantime, ensuring the continuous delivery of quality education and effective school management.

Thank you, Sir Gilbert Asuncion, for your dedication, leadership, and service to the Daclapan ES family. We wish you success in your future endeavors. Likewise, we extend our full support to Ms. Celina Rambungga as she takes on her new responsibility.
