The Senior High School Department of Gregorio T. Crespo Memorial High School proudly marks the successful accomplishment of its First Research In-House Review, The Contemporary Youth Landscape: Intersection of Influence, Innovation, and Identity, held as part of the school’s Reading Month celebration. Showcasing research proposals from senior high school learners, the event highlighted and examined how today’s youth navigate the complex forces shaping their learning, interactions, and identities—from peer pressure and coping strategies to the growing influence of tools like ChatGPT in developing critical thinking. The proposals also explored broader youth experiences, including political ideologies among out-of-school youth, gaming habits such as playing Mobile Legends, and engagement in sports, all of which impact their social well-being and academic outcomes. This milestone affirms the school’s commitment to cultivating a dynamic, reflective, and relevant research culture among its learners.
