Hello, my name is Aelisha Marlie L. Caballero and I am one of the 8 seniors in Medonn, Cabatuan campus. Its has been only a few days since the start of school. It is quite difficult and I now understand the feeling of being on the last part of elementary days, 6th grade.
So, before I tell more about my senior life, let me give you my backstory. I joined Medonn when I was 3 or 4. I started my preschool days there. I’ve participated in many events, contests and activities. I’m quite shy at first but as time goes by, my self confidence develop. When I started first grade, it was scary; meeting new classmates and new challenges. I made many friends. After the last quarter of 1st grade, a new chapter in our lives began, a chapter of quarantine. Second grade started, same thing happened during the pandemic. It did not stop the school from sending knowledge to us, using the ‘Home-school learning’ technique, we were able to study even when there was Corona Virus. Fast forward to 4th grade. We got the new normal that we could see our friends and teachers again with proper protocol.
I was so happy to make new friends with lower and higher grades. We talked about the same topics, relating experiences and laughing at each others ‘lutang moments’. I’ve learned a lot in Medonn, and learned to love each of our subjects and teachers as well.
Now that I’m one of the seniors, it is my responsibility to take care of our ‘little ones’ aka, the younger grades. My experience of being a Medonnian is full of challenges, leisure, sadness, both lovely and hilarious memories. May the legacy of Medonn continues to soar!
