Kasabay ng pagdiriwang sa Buwan ng Wika ay ang pagbibigay-pugay at pagkilala sa isang makabuluhang tagumpay sa pagkakarehistro ng organisasyong “The MeNew”

Bilang pagkilala sa pagsisikap at ambag, nakatanggap ng sertipiko ang nasabing publikasyon, na nagsisilbing simbolo ng dedikasyon, talento, at patuloy na paglilingkod sa departamento.

Taos-pusong pasasalamat sa mga magigiting na estudyanteng nasa likod ng organisasyong ito, at pati narin sa nagsilbing tagapayo at patuloy na gumagabay sa buong organisasyon na si Dr. Carina D. Rustia ,at sa buong kumakatawan ng mga g**o sa Departamento ng Hospitality Management.

Ang karangalang ito ay bunga ng pagkakaisa ng mga talento, sipag, at dedikasyon. Ang mga katangiang ito ay patuloy na nagbibigay-buhay sa departamento at nagsusulong ng pamamahayag na hindi lamang makulay, kundi higit sa lahat, ay may kabuluhan sa komunidad.

In preparing the HM Department booths, every student poured not only their effort and commitment, but also their passion and heart. Each smile, each hand extended, and each sacrifice made reflects the true spirit of teamwork. Together, we prove that when hearts beat as one, challenges turn into triumphs, and simple tasks become meaningful milestones. This is more than just preparation, it is a celebration of our bond, our dedication, and our collective dream.

“Panagibtor” — an Ilocano word that means perseverance.

On the second day of preparing the Ilocano-inspired booths, even the rain couldn’t stop our determined young hoteliers. With unwavering spirit, teamwork, and dedication, they continued building and are now close to completing their ‘kubo.’

Through every drop of rain, their hard work and perseverance truly shined showing that with the word “Panagibtor”, no challenge is too big to overcome.

On the first day of preparing the Ilocano-inspired booths, our young hoteliers truly brought this value to life! With bright smiles and helping hands, they showed dedication, teamwork, and endless patience as they worked together to build their very own ‘kubo.’

Every step, every laugh, and every effort made the experience even more meaningful—proving that with the word ‘agan-anus’, anything can come together beautifully.

We are proud to announce that the BSHM Department has proudly won 2nd Place in the Booth making competition with the
Theme:”Musika at Ating Himig: Tradisyon, industriya,at Bagong Tinig.”

This victory highlights not only our students’ excellence in hospitality and event management, but also their creativity, teamwork, and passion for promoting Filipino culture through music. Securing 2nd place is a testament to their dedication and artistry — proving that BSHM students can shine both inside and outside the classroom, balancing academics, events, and cultural celebrations with excellence.

Congratulations to the entire team for bringing honor to the department and inspiring others to embrace the richness of Musikang Pilipino!
