2nd year BSHM students experienced hands on catering service through their Banquet and Catering Service Training, as part of their mid year activities.

Setting up tables, preparing food, to serving guests, and working as a team, the 2nd years apply what they’ve learned in the classroom into actual event. It was a fun and meaningful experience that helped them improve their skills, build their confidence, and get a glimpse of what its like to work in the hospitality industry.

The 3rd-year students stepped up today as they performed and presented different kinds of salads and pasta dishes. And with the guidance of Ma’am Kristine A. Dela Cruz, on the subject HMPE 103 Culinary Nutrition, they turned simple ingredients into something creative and delicious showing not just their skills, but also their passion for learning and teamwork.

Section 3B was recognized as the Most-Liked Vietnamese Food Presentation during the ASEAN celebration, after their presentation featuring Bún Thịt Nướng, Bánh Mì, and Nước Mía garnered 105 likes on Facebook.

The recognition was based on the number of Facebook likes received by their presentation, highlighting the strong online engagement and support their entry received from the community.

The award was presented by SCHM Governor Oliver Duayet, acknowledging Section 3B’s effort and creativity in presenting Vietnamese cuisine as part of the ASEAN celebration.
