81 young learners receive school supplies through Wesleyan outreach
In celebration of International Youth Month, Wesleyan University-Philippines, through the Wesleyan External Systems, Connections, and Partnerships (WESCOP) and the Gender and Development (GAD) Office, distributed 81 school bags filled with essential learning supplies to the students of Home for Girls in Brgy. Singalat, Palayan City.
Beyond providing school materials, the initiative reflected the University's mission to uplift communities and empower every young learner through accessible, inclusive education.

Effective immediately, the University, through its Security Office and Crisis Management Committee, will implement ENHANCED SECURITY INSPECTIONS OF VEHICLES ENTERING THE CAMPUS.
Please take note of the following:
All vehicles entering the University will be subject to inspection, including vehicle interiors and accessible compartments;
All motorcycles entering the University will undergo inspection, including storage compartments;
Strict checking of ID and Vehicle Sticker Pass will be continuously implemented.

Classes at Wesleyan University-Philippines tomorrow, August 20, 2026, will follow Alternative Learning Mode, in line with Memorandum Circular No. 131 issued by the Office of the Philippine President.
Please take note of the following:
• The suspension applies to face-to-face classes, except for the John Wesley School of Law and Governance and the College of Medicine.
• Office operations will continue as usual.
• Students are advised to coordinate with their respective colleges and faculty members regarding the implementation of alternative learning activities.

Inaanyayahan ng Wesleyan University–Philippines ang mga g**o at edukador na dumalo sa isang makabuluhang talakayan tungkol sa wika, edukasyon, at teknolohiya:
“Filipino sa Panahon ng AI at ASEAN: Wika, Instruksiyon, at Pagkatuto sa Gitna ng Dominanteng Ingles”
Sa panahon ng mabilis na pag-unlad ng Artificial Intelligence (AI) at patuloy na pagtutulungan ng mga bansa sa ASEAN, mahalagang balikan at pagnilayan ang papel ng wikang Filipino sa pagtuturo, pagkatuto, pananaliksik, at paghuhubog ng mga mag-aaral.
Layunin ng webinar na magbigay ng pagkakataon sa mga g**o at edukador na talakayin ang mga hamon at oportunidad na hatid ng AI sa edukasyon, gayundin ang pagpapanatili ng halaga at kabuluhan ng wikang Filipino sa isang mabilis na nagbabagong daigdig.

WUP to Host 2026 DOST-SEI Undergraduate Scholarships Qualifying Exam
A partnership was forged between Wesleyan University-Philippines (WUP) and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) on August 18, 2026, represented by Dr. Irineo G. Alvaro, Jr. (WUP President) and Dr. Leidi Mel B. Sicat (DOST Nueva Ecija Provincial Director).
WUP and Central Luzon State University (CLSU) would serve as official examination sites in the province for the national examination scheduled on November 14 to 15, 2026.
"The inclusion of WUP addresses a critical logistical challenge by significantly scaling up testing capacity and reducing travel barriers for hundreds of aspiring scholars," stated DOST-Nueva Ecija on its Facebook post on August 18, 2026.
DOST further noted that the partnership solidified WUP's standing as a premier educational institution and a vital advocate of the advancement of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in Region III.
Further, DOST highlighted the collaboration's national significance in expanding gateways for young talent to earn DOST-SEI scholarships.

In line with Memorandum Circular No. 129 issued by the Office of the Philippine President, face-to-face classes at Wesleyan University–Philippines are suspended on August 19, 2026, except for the John Wesley School of Law and Governance and the College of Medicine.
Classes will shift to Alternative Learning Modes (ALMs).
Office operations will continue as usual.
Students, faculty, and staff are advised to take note of this announcement and follow the appropriate instructions from their respective colleges, departments, and offices.

In line with the announcements of the Provincial Government of Nueva Ecija and the City Government of Cabanatuan, face-to-face classes at Wesleyan University-Philippines will be suspended on August 18, 2026, except for the John Wesley School of Law and Governance and the College of Medicine.
Classes will shift to Alternative Learning Modes (ALMs).
