𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗻-𝗨𝗽 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲 "𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗽𝘆𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲"

On September 26, 2026, the NEUST University Student Government (USG), in collaboration with Local Student Governments (LSGs) from various colleges and campuses, united for a university-wide clean-up drive at the Sumacab Campus.

Anchored on the theme "𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀: 𝗡𝗘𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗡𝗮𝗴𝗸𝗮𝗸𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗮 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝘀𝗮 𝗞𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗻," the activity was held at the CMBT Gymnasium. It was graced by USG President Clamonte and the USG Executive Body, who delivered messages of appreciation and recognition to all participants.

After the program, students proceeded to their assigned areas. The IOLL Local Student Government was assigned to the Science and Technology Building.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | EnviDep Launches Waste Management Plan

In pursuit of a cleaner and safer environment for students, the 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗗𝗲𝗽), led by its head, Pem Laika Digman, conducted its first meeting on 𝗪𝗲𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟲, 𝗮𝘁 𝟮:𝟬𝟬 𝗽.𝗺. in the 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 to discuss the proposed 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗕𝗶𝗻 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻.

The meeting focused on establishing an organized waste management system, including designated cleaning schedules and the responsibilities of students during school days. Discussions also covered the importance of student participation, project guidelines, and the shared responsibility of maintaining cleanliness within the school.

Through this initiative, the department aims to promote environmental awareness, discipline, and active student involvement in creating a healthier and more conducive school community.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to turning the proposed plan into meaningful action and fostering a culture of responsibility among students.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | IOLL-LSG Committees and Executive Officers Convene with the LSG Adviser

On 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, 𝗮𝘁 𝟵:𝟬𝟬 𝗔𝗠, a general meeting was held at the Science Building, NEUST Sumacab Campus, with the IOLL-LSG Adviser, 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗼 “𝗕𝗼𝗯𝗯𝘆” 𝗦𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗿, together with representatives from the Executive Board and various committees of IOLL-LSG.

The meeting focused on the plans, objectives, and responsibilities of each committee, as well as the organization's upcoming activities and projects. Questions were raised, relevant information was shared, and necessary steps for upcoming events were discussed.

The meeting aimed to establish a clearer direction for the organization and to ensure the effective and organized fulfillment of each member's responsibilities.

Gawa muna o gala muna?😅
Deadline muna o pahinga muna kahit saglit?🥲

Habang lahat nagha-habol ng requirements, nagre-review habang pagod, at nag-aantay ng ambag ng groupmate na “send ko mamaya” daw… may isa namang gustong lumabas para kahit saglit makalimutan ang stress.

Pero kapag Hell Week na talaga…

Masayang nakiisa ang mga first-year students mula sa 𝗕𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀 (𝗕𝗔𝗟𝗖𝗦), kasama ang mga mag-aaral mula sa iba’t ibang kolehiyo at kampus, sa taunang Alay sa First Year (ASFY) na may temang “Sama-samang Kulay, Iisang Lakbay ng Iskolar ng Bayan.” Idinaos ang pagtitipon noong 𝗶𝗸𝗮-𝟭𝟬 𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘆𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗲 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝘀𝗮 𝗡𝗘𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗖𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗚𝘆𝗺𝗻𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺, 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗮𝗯 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀.

Sinimulan ang pagdiriwang sa pamamagitan ng Unity Walk, na sinundan ng procession, panalangin, pag-awit ng Pambansang Awit, at opening program. Nagpatuloy ang programa sa isang cultural show tampok ang mga pagtatanghal mula sa NEUST Folkloric Group, NEUST Danza, at NEUST Chorale.

Ipinamalas naman ng mga first-year students ang kanilang talento at pagkamalikhain sa 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗗𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗮𝘁 𝗟𝗶𝗽 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, na nagbigay-daan sa mga mag-aaral na makiisa, magsaya, at lumikha ng masasayang alaala kasama ang kanilang kapwa Iskolar ng Bayan.

Sa isang araw ng talento, pagkakaisa, at kasiyahan, tunay na naging makulay ang paglalakbay ng mga bagong Iskolar ng Bayan sa ASFY 2026.
