We mourn the passing of Mike Guinto, a remarkable student leader whose dedication, passion, and service left a lasting mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Mike was more than a leader; he was a source of inspiration, a voice for others, and a light within the community. His commitment to excellence, compassion for people, and genuine spirit will always be remembered and cherished.

Though his journey has come to an end, the legacy he built through his leadership and kindness will continue to guide and inspire future generations.

Our deepest condolences go out to his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched. Rest peacefully, Mike. You will never be forgotten.

With profound sadness and a deep sense of loss, the CMBT Local Student Government announces the passing of our esteemed and beloved Hon. Governor Mike M. Guinto, on this day, February 21, 2026.

Gov. Mike was not merely a leader, but a guiding light for the College of Management and Business Technology. His dedication was consistent and firm, his spirit indomitable, and his heart open to all. He possessed a rare ability to inspire, to motivate, and to unite us in pursuit of a common goal: the betterment of our college community.

He was, without a doubt, the most responsible, compassionate, and exceptional leader the CMBT has ever been privileged to know. His leadership was characterized by integrity, empathy, and a passionate dedication to the well-being of every student. His impact is immeasurable, and his memory will forever be cherished.

As we grieve this immense loss, let us also remember and celebrate the extraordinary life he lived and the countless lives he touched with his kindness and generosity. Let us honor his legacy by carrying forward his vision, upholding the values he embodied, and continuing to build a brighter future for the College of Management and Business Technology.
