The Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management program of the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) successfully participated in the webinar entitled "𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗿𝗮 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘁: 𝐵𝑢𝑖𝑙𝑑𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑆𝑢𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑖𝑛𝑎𝑏𝑙𝑒, 𝑆𝑎𝑓𝑒, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝐴𝑑𝑎𝑝𝑡𝑖𝑣𝑒 𝐷𝑒𝑠𝑡𝑖𝑛𝑎𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛𝑠 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐹𝑢𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒," held on July 29, 2026, via Zoom.

The webinar featured two distinguished resource speakers who shared their expertise and international perspectives on building a more resilient tourism and hospitality industry:

𝐌𝐬. 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬𝐚 𝐏. 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐫𝐲, Operation Manager of Moirah's Travelight Tours & Travel, President of the Nueva Ecija Association of Travel Operators, and Regular Member of the Philippine Travel Agencies Association, discussed "Global Conflict and Their Impact on Tourism and Hospitality." Her presentation highlighted how global crises influence travel demand, tourism operations, and destination resilience while emphasizing the importance of strategic recovery and sustainable tourism practices.

𝐌𝐝𝐦. 𝐄𝐦𝐢𝐫𝐮𝐝𝐳𝐢𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐢 𝐁𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢, Deputy Director of Politeknik METro Betong Sarawak, Malaysia, delivered her presentation on "Crisis Management and Resilience Strategies in the Tourism Industry." She provided valuable insights into crisis preparedness, risk assessment, resilience planning, and adaptive management strategies that empower tourism stakeholders to respond effectively to global uncertainties.

The webinar served as an excellent platform for learning, collaboration, and international knowledge exchange, equipping participants with practical strategies to build safe, sustainable, adaptive, and future-ready tourism destinations. It also reaffirmed the importance of resilience, innovation, and global cooperation in addressing the evolving challenges faced by the tourism and hospitality sector.

The Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management Program extends its heartfelt gratitude to the NEUST - Training Department, in collaboration with the College of Management and Business Technology, for organizing this meaningful academic initiative. MAGNA CUM LAUDE NG NEUST, CABIN CREW NA NG PHILIPPINE AIRLINES!

Karangalan sa Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) ang hatid ng isa sa mga alumni nito matapos matanggap bilang Cabin Crew ng Philippine Airlines (PAL).

Ipinagmamalaki ng NEUST Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) department si Ms. Carolyn S. Capingian, na nagtapos na Magna Cum Laude at kabilang sa Class of 2025 (Batch Cairo).

Sa TikTok post ni Capingian, na may caption na “My plot twist for 2026,” makikita ang kanyang graduation photo noong 2025, kasunod ang kanyang larawan nitong 2026 na suot na ang cabin crew uniform ng PAL.

Sa isa pa niyang post, ibinahagi ni Capingian ang kanyang naging journey bago matanggap sa kumpanya.

Ayon sa kanya, nagpasa siya ng resume sa PAL noong December 26 matapos makakita ng hiring post, at sa mismong araw din na iyon ay nakatanggap agad siya ng imbitasyon para sa isang interview.

Ginanap aniya ang nasabing interview noong January 6, 2026, at dito na nagtuluy-tuloy ang katuparan ng kanyang pangarap na maging isang flight attendant.
