📢 HEALTH ADVISORY | CAMS STUDENTS, FACULTY MEMBERS, AND STAFF

In line with Joint Memorandum No. 4, Series of 2026 issued by the Offices of the Vice President for Academic Affairs and the Vice President for Administration and Planning, and in light of the recent reports of COVID-19 exposure among students and their families, the College of Allied Medical Sciences (CAMS) reminds everyone to strictly observe the University’s health and safety protocols.

Key Guidelines:

🦠 For COVID-19 Positive Cases
• Isolate at home for 7 days.
• If symptoms persist after the isolation period, undergo a repeat COVID-19 test before returning to campus.
• Individuals who are fully vaccinated and asymptomatic after the 7-day isolation period may return to school or work. A repeat test is optional unless otherwise advised by a healthcare provider.

👥 For Close Contacts
If NOT Fully Vaccinated:
• Undergo COVID-19 testing immediately.
• If symptoms develop, observe a 7-day home quarantine.

If Fully Vaccinated:
• You may continue attending classes or reporting for work provided that you:
✔️ Wear a face mask whenever appropriate;
✔️ Practice proper hand hygiene; and
✔️ Monitor yourself for symptoms for 7 days.

If symptoms develop during the monitoring period, immediately undergo COVID-19 testing and inform your Program Head or immediate supervisor.

🤧 Students, faculty, and staff experiencing flu-like symptoms are strongly encouraged to stay home and seek appropriate medical consultation.

🐾 Lottie Update! 🐾

Our beloved community cat, Lottie, is now wearing a tracking device! 🐱📍 Yesterday, he also enjoyed a little spa day and came back looking extra handsome after his grooming session.

If you happen to see Lottie around campus, please do not remove his tracker, as it helps us locate him whenever needed and ensures his safety.

We know Lottie is incredibly cute and it's tempting to cuddle or carry him. However, please avoid picking him up or restraining him, as his temperament can be unpredictable. Even the friendliest cats may scratch or bite when they feel startled or uncomfortable.

For everyone's peace of mind, Lottie's rabies vaccination is up to date. Still, the best way to show him love is to let him approach you on his own terms and admire him from a respectful distance.
