𝗥𝗘𝗚𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗜𝗜𝗜'𝘀 𝗙𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗧 | SJNHS Brings Pride to SDO Cabanatuan City with Championship in Regional Math Jingle-Making Competition
City of San Fernando, Pampanga, March 7 — Talents were measured and a championship secured from every angle as San Josef National High School (SJNHS) claimed the Champion title among 21 Schools Division Offices in the Regional Mathematics Fair 2026 Jingle-Making Competition, held at Pampanga High School with the theme, “Mathematics and Hope: Inspiring Learners to Dream, Solve, and Succeed.”
The winning performance was composed of learners from the SJNHS Dance Company and the San Josef NHS Chorale, coached by Mathematics Coordinator Ma’am Nina Joyce Ramos and directed by Sir Rockford Rhodes Balabas. The piece was choreographed by Ma’am Joyce Ganareal, with lyrics written by Ma’am Precious Ann Dela Cruz and Sir Kristian Jacob. The musical arrangement was crafted by Sir Albert Caraig and Sir August Be Tuazon, while Sir Christian Sardañas served as the technical director, ensuring the seamless ex*****on of the performance.
The production was strengthened by the collaborative efforts of the SJNHS community. Props and stage elements were led by Production Head Sir Terrence De Guzman with the assistance of Ma’am Isabel Agustin, Sir Ariel Rioroso, Ate Jinny Mercado, Ate Maricel Severino, and Kuya Roel. The creative copy design of the lyric book was prepared by Sir Junmel Valientes, while costumes were managed by Sir Yurie Cardenas, Ma’am KC Bautista, and Ma’am Khylene Rosal. The performers were also supported by the team of HMUAs composed of Ma’am Joyce Ganareal, Ma’am Khylene Caraig, Ma’am Precious Dela Cruz, and Ma’am Divine Dizon.
Further support came from the Mathematics Department through Ma’am Divina Dizon, Sir Roldan Mabalay, Ma’am Jhonna Mari, Ma’am Noemi Diaz, Ma’am Roxanne Estarez, Ma’am Reo Perez, Ma'am Maria Jesusa Cepeda, and Ma’am Apple De Guzman, alongside the assistance of Sir Rheymon Nieto, who served as tailor, runner, and all-around support for the team.
The team’s participation was made possible through the full support of the school leadership and the Schools Division Office of Cabanatuan City, led by City Mayor Hon. Myca Elizabeth R. Vergara, Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Catalina P. Paez, and Assistant Schools Division Superintendent Mr. Donato B. Chico. Guidance was also extended by Mathematics Education Supervisor Sir Sonny De Leon, PSDS Mr. Carlos Celestino Jr., the School Heads of District III, SJNHS Principal Ma’am Imelda D. Sison, Head Teacher Mr. Elmer Puyat, and Master Teacher Ma’am Shalee San Pedro.
The victory stands as a testament to the collective dedication, creativity, and unity of the San Josef NHS community, reflecting the strength of collaboration between learners, mentors, and school leaders in advancing excellence in Mathematics and the performing arts.
