Being a teacher is a crucial profession where almost all human beings will be in their hands. There are a few times they are questioning themselves: "Why am I here?", "Why am I doing it?", "Is this enough?", and "Is this my purpose?".

Standing, walking, and monitoring around the class on a long day will be tiring. Making lesson plans and instructional materials will be exhausting, as they also think the most essential competencies that their students will attain during the day. Making sure that all of their students will go home safely and completely. The role of a teacher never stops there as they leave the classroom.

Ang buhay nga ng isang g**o ay hindi natatapos sa isang araw, hindi umiikot sa apat na sulok ng silid-aralan, ito ay pamhabangbuhay — sa loob at labas ng paaralan. Kaya ngayong buwan ng mga g**o, magbigay-galang at magpasalamat tayo sa isa sa mga nakapapagod na propesyon dahil sa kanilang tiyaga at dedikasyon. 𝐈𝐧 𝟏𝟗𝟗𝟓, a year before the centenary of the revolution against Spain, a committee produced the following list of key known National Heroes who should be honoured for their contribution to the Philippines:

* Andres Bonifacio,
* Emilio Aguinaldo,
* Apolinario Mabini,
* Marcelo H. del Pilar,
* Sultan Dipatuan Kudarat,
* Juan Luna,
* Melchora Aquino
* Gabriela Silang,

Two of these heroes, 𝐀𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐨 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐥 were key figures in the fight for independence from Spain that they also have specific national holidays in their honour.

The date chosen is intended to mark the 'Cry of Pugad Lawin' in August 1896, which was the first act of insurrection against the Spanish colonisers by the Katipunan, a hitherto secret Filipino revolutionary movement. This is seen as the start of the Philippine revolution and movement towards independence.

1996 was declared as the Year of Filipino Heroes to mark the centennial of the revolution against Spain.
The celebration of National Heroes Day is one of the oldest public holidays in the Philippines. In fact, it began during the American Occupation of the country. The Philippine legislature enacted Act No. 3827 on October 28th 1931 institutionalizing the celebration of National Heroes Day.

IN 187, during the administration of President Corazon C. Aquino, Executive Order No. 292, Book 1, Chapter 7, which provided for a list of regular holidays and nationwide special days, set National Heroes Day as a regular holiday to be celebrated on the last Sunday of August.

In 2007, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo signed Republic Act No. 9492, moving the national holiday to the last Monday of August. The Arroyo administration said that moving the holiday to Monday was in line with the "holiday economics" program and promoted long weekends for citizens to engage with domestic tourism.

SECTION 1. Ninoy Aquino Day. In order to commemorate the death anniversary of former Senator Benigno "Ninoy" S. Aquino, Jr., August 21 of every year is hereby declared as Ninoy Aquino Day, which shall be a national nonworking holiday.

Bring Me, Pahabaan, Calamansi Relay, Trip to Jerusalem, Straw Tower, Chinese Garter, Hep-hep Hooray, and Pinoy Henyo are the thrilling and exciting games that the 𝐂𝐎𝐄𝐝 students have surely enjoyed and that have the same nostalgic vibes as the 𝐂𝐎𝐄𝐝 students have experienced today.
