ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 19
Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 129, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 19, 2026:

๐ Benguet
๐ Ilocos Sur
๐ La Union
๐ Pangasinan
๐ Bataan
๐ Bulacan
๐ Nueva Ecija
๐ Pampanga
๐ Tarlac
๐ Zambales
๐ Batangas
๐ Cavite
๐ Laguna
๐ Rizal
๐ Occidental Mindoro
๐ Oriental Mindoro
Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.
Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.
The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

Alinsunod sa umiiral na mga memorandum at patakaran ng Department of Education (DepEd) at Commission on Higher Education (CHED), ang bawat paaralan at higher education institution ay hinihikayat na gumamit ng naaangkop na Alternative Delivery Modes (ADM), online classes, modular learning, asynchronous learning, o iba pang alternatibong pamamaraan ng pagkatuto, kung kinakailangan at naaayon sa kanilang sariling assessment, kapasidad, at umiiral na guidelines, upang matiyak ang pagpapatuloy ng pag-aaral nang hindi isinasakripisyo ang kaligtasan ng mga mag-aaral at g**o.
Ayon sa DOST-PAGASA Weather Advisory No. 64, na inilabas ngayong Agosto 17, 2026, alas-5:00 ng hapon, kabilang ang Nueva Ecija sa mga lugar na may inaasahang katamtaman hanggang sa malakas na pag-ulan hanggang hapon ng Agosto 18 dahil sa Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).
Pinapayuhan ang lahat na manatiling mapagmatyag at patuloy na subaybayan ang mga opisyal na abiso mula sa DOST-PAGASA, PDRRMO, DepEd, CHED, kani-kanilang paaralan, at Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Nueva Ecija.

Alinsunod sa Memorandum Circular No. 127, inaatasan ang mga tanggapan ng pamahalaan na magpatupad ng alternative work arrangements ngayong Agosto 17, 2026. Samantala, mananatiling bukas ang Pamahalaang Lungsod ng Cabanatuan at magpapatupad ng skeletal workforce arrangement sa buong araw.
Ipatutupad rin ang paglilipat o shift sa alternative learning modes para sa mga klase sa lahat ng antas sa mga pampubliko at pribadong paaralan.
Ang mga ahensyang nangunguna sa paghahatid ng mga pangunahing serbisyo, serbisyong pangkalusugan, paghahanda at pagtugon sa sakuna, at iba pang mahahalagang serbisyo ay magpapatuloy sa kanilang operasyon upang matiyak ang tuloy-tuloy na paghahatid ng kinakailangang serbisyo sa publiko.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
In view of Memorandum Circular No. 126 and the prevailing heavy rainfall, classes on 14 August 2026 will shift to an asynchronous and flexible learning arrangement in the afternoon.
Learners are advised to accomplish the assigned learning tasks at their own pace and stay updated through the official class communication channels.

Pinapayuhan pa rin ang lahat na mag-ingat, magsuot ng angkop na kasuotan kung umuulan, at magdala ng payong o kapote kung kinakailangan. Patuloy nating unahin ang kaligtasan ng bawat mag-aaral.
