𝗢𝗸𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻: 𝗔𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗮 𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗮𝗻, 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗮.

Oktaryon is a mythical sea creature from the depths of the Philippine sea. According
to the legend, Oktaryon is an ancient sea guardian who protects the sea with its 8
powerful arms. Oktaryon was blessed by the gods with wisdom, ability to adapt and to transform.

Oktaryon is fitted to the qualities of being a leader. In ancient legends, the octopus is sometimes associated with gods and sea monsters known for its eight arms capable of entrapping its prey with mesmerising precision. Connecting to the current setup, octopus is the best icon to represent the COE group. With the COE Student Council embodying the head of Oktaryon, where the brain and mouth lie. Signifying that they are the headmasters and voices of the whole group while the organizations are represented by the tentacles, helping the body to move, grasp, and gather sensory information.

As a whole, Oktaryon is able to change color and shape has led to stories of it being a master of disguise, a characteristic that is great for student leadership. A student leader has to be flexible and adaptable, disguising their weaknesses as opportunities until they become their strengths.

In addition, Oktaryon has an ability to regenerate lost limbs that symbolises the
resilience and growth mindset that is crucial for student leaders. No matter setbacks, leaders should continually strive to regenerate and grow stronger. This symbolism perfectly matches the essence of being an effective student leader, where collaboration, adaptability, and resilience are the key to success.

Despite the unpredictable weather, the facade of PHINMA Araullo University - Main Campus was illuminated with the colors of the rainbow to celebrate Pride Month. This initiative underscores the institution's commitment to fostering an inclusive community where every student and faculty member can freely express their identity.

The project was spearheaded by the Araullo University Central Student Council, the highest governing and foremost representative of the university's student body. It is part of the council's "Making The Lives of Others Better" projects for this academic year.

The facade will be illuminated every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday in June from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
