Today, we celebrate with overflowing gratitude for the existence of a person who has become our pillar of hope. The one who leads not just one or two organizations, but also serves as a son, a student, a humanitarian, and a health advocate—especially in the fields of mental health and nursing education.

Your dedication, resilience, and compassion continue to inspire those around you. On this special day, we honor not only your leadership but also the person that are beyond titles and responsibilities.

From the struggle of birth to handling our kid-like behavior to educating and guiding us up until that we are growing to become a man and a woman. You have always been there, staying and understanding us. We know that being a mom is hard— we know that you stay up all night just to check if we are okay, we know that even on days that you tired you are trying to be there, we know that even on the days that seems that we don’t need you anymore— you stay endlessly and patiently waiting for us to come and need you— in sickness and in health, through sadness and happiness— and we thank you.

You may not always find the right words to say, the right expression to express but we appreciate every little things that you give, even the slightest patience. We apologize that sometimes every fight is a painful pang on you, but know that we are proud of you for always teaching us how to be a person we can grow into. And we are so proud of you.

To my mom, to your mom, to every moms— no matter what form— no matter how they became a mom— you are always love and appreciated. Happy Mother’s Day!
