May Ann M. Badajos, a fifth-year student from the College of Architecture at the Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST), was recognized as the Outstanding Youth Volunteer – Individual Category in the 2025 Search for Outstanding Volunteers (SOV) Regional Awards on December 4, at Royce Hotel and Casino in Clark Freeport Zone, Pampanga.

Prior to this recognition, Badajos underwent a rigorous selection process, highlighting her extensive volunteer work and experiences across various organizations and affiliations both within and outside the university.

Badajos is set to once again represent NEUST as one of the finalists in the 36th Jose Rizal Model Students of the Philippines, to be held in Vigan, Ilocos Sur.

𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒| 𝐍𝐄𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐜𝐲 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐫𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡

Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology reaffirmed its commitment to child welfare and protection as it actively participated in the advocacy campaign organized by the Philippines Against Child Trafficking (PACT) – Cabanatuan City Chapter in celebration of National Children’s Month this November.

This year’s theme, “OSAEC–CSAEM Wakasan: Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata Ipaglaban!”, highlights the essential role of institutions and communities in preventing online sexual abuse, exploitation, and child trafficking. NEUST responded to this call by prominently displaying the PACT advocacy tarpaulin on campus, symbolizing the university’s solidarity with national initiatives promoting children’s safety and rights.

The activity was graced by several key university representatives, including the Vice President for Academic Affairs (VPAA), the Dean of the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), the OSAS Unit Heads, student leaders, college students, high school students, and faculty members. Their collective participation demonstrated NEUST’s shared dedication to fostering a safe and child-friendly learning environment.

NEUST’s involvement supports the objectives of Republic Act No. 10661, which calls on all sectors to advance the welfare and empowerment of Filipino children throughout National Children’s Month. Through this engagement, the university continues to embody its commitment to awareness-building, advocacy, and the promotion of children’s rights.

𝗖𝗔𝗔𝗦𝗨𝗖 𝗜𝗜𝗜 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 | Final and Official Tally

Naiuwi ng Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology (NEUST) ang ikalawang puwesto sa overall ranking ng CAASUC III Regional Culture and the Arts Festival (RCAF) 2025 na ginanap sa Pampanga State Agricultural University.

Kasunod ito ng tatlong opisyal na araw ng pakikipagtagisan ng mga kalahok sa pagpapamalas ng galing at mga talento sa sining at kultura mula Nobyembre 22-26 kung saan nakapagtala ang unibersidad ng kabuuang 94 na puntos mula sa mga medalyang nasungkit sa iba’t ibang kompetisyon.
