Progress on a national and international scale depends heavily on research. Its importance cannot be understated because it aims to maintain and enhance quality of life. Research is defined as the production of new knowledge and/or the innovative use of pre-existing knowledge to produce novel ideas, approaches, and comprehensions. This might involve synthesizing and analyzing earlier research to the point that it produces original and innovative results.

Research-based courses such as Capstone Project, Practical Research, Inquiries, Investigations, and Immersion call on students to defend and explain their findings.
Accordingly, the Camp Tinio National High School Senior High School Department conducted presentation and oral defense of their research projects under the heading "PROJECT ASSIST," which will polish the students' research-planning skills and provide them a deeper understanding of the research technique of their chosen subject. Additionally, it gives them the chance to engage with real-world examples of challenges, which helps students develop the analytical thinking, communication, and critical thinking abilities necessary to compete worldwide.
The purpose of the thesis defense is to allow faculty members and the thesis committee to check if the student researchers have a thorough understanding of their field or emphasis area.
