Another milestone for the College of Engineering!

A total of 108 fourth-year Civil Engineering students from OLFU Pampanga took part in their 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗱-𝗛𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 on September 18 at the Event Center of the Saint Ann Building.

Following the 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴's first-ever university-wide Hard-Hatting and Pinning Ceremony held in Quezon City, the Pampanga ceremony carried forward the same meaningful tradition, recognizing students as they move closer to professional engineering practice.

The event featured an inspiring message from engineer and content creator 𝗜𝗻𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘆𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝘂𝗴𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮, who inspired students as they prepare for the next stage of their journey.

Congratulations to the College of Medical Laboratory Science (CMLS) of OLFU Antipolo! 🧪🏆

OLFU Antipolo’s CMLS Team proudly emerged as a 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟱 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗿 among 71 schools nationwide in the 𝟰𝟱𝘁𝗵 𝗣𝗔𝗠𝗘𝗧–𝗣𝗔𝗦𝗠𝗘𝗧𝗛 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗤𝘂𝗶𝘇 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄, held on 18 September 2026 at the Manila Hotel's Tent City as part of the celebration of Medical Technology Week.

OLFU also posted strong campus performances, with Valenzuela (93.41%), Antipolo (91.86%), Nueva Ecija (93.33%), and Laguna (96.43%) all surpassing the 91.73% National Passing Rate. For first-time takers, Valenzuela (94.67%) and Laguna (96.43%) also exceeded the 93.73% NPR.

𝗢𝗟𝗙𝗨, 𝗣𝗡𝗔–𝗡𝗖𝗥 𝗭𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝟮 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲

On September 22, 2026, Our Lady of Fatima University (OLFU), in collaboration with the Philippine Nurses Association–NCR Zone 2, convened nearly 500 onsite participants and more than 800 students online for the International Nursing Convention 2026 at the Assembly Hall, OLFU RISE Tower in Valenzuela City.

The convention brought together nursing educators, professionals, leaders, and advocates for discussions on current trends in Japanese maternity care, global and public health nursing, robotics in healthcare, intrapartal and newborn care, and the migration of Filipino nurses.

It featured research presentations from Japanese nursing experts Prof. Megumi Haruna, Dr. Prof. Masayo Matsuzak, and Dr. Prof. Erika Ota, alongside a keynote address by Chargé d’Affaires of the Embassy of Japan in the Philippines Min. ONO Sho. The event also formed part of the commemoration of 70 years of Philippines–Japan diplomatic relations and highlighted the continuing partnership between the two countries, including through the Japan–Philippines Economic Partnership Agreement (JPEPA).

Filipino academic and industry experts Dr. Albert Causo, Prof. Francis Vasquez, and Dr. Carmen Pacis complemented the international speakers, contributing perspectives that bridged local practice and global nursing developments.

OLFU leaders also graced the convention, including University President Dr. Caroline Marian S. Enriquez; Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Heracleo Lagrada, who delivered the inspirational address; College of Nursing Dean Dr. Maria Luisa T. Uayan, who delivered the closing remarks; and Program Head for Medical-Surgical Nursing Dr. Potenciana A.
Maroma, whose synthesis brought together the convention’s key insights.

Through enriching gatherings like this, we celebrate the connections, shared learning, and collective vision that help weave a stronger future for nursing. 💚

The OLFU Community proudly congratulates 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗮 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗘. 𝗣𝗲𝗻̃𝗮, 𝗥𝗡 of OLFU Valenzuela for placing in the 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝟭𝟬 of the August and September 2026 Nurses Licensure Examination with a rating of 𝟵𝟬.𝟰𝟬%.

The results also reflect the strong performance of OLFU campuses, with OLFU Antipolo and OLFU Nueva Ecija exceeding the 76.74% National Passing Rate through marks of 90.95% and 78.84%, respectively.

In the first-time takers category, OLFU Antipolo recorded a 93.14% passing rate, surpassing the national rate of 85.81%.

Congratulations to our 𝟮,𝟵𝟬𝟴 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗻𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝘀! Carry on the legacy of touching the lives of others and healing one patient at a time. 💚

Our Lady of Fatima University warmly welcomes the Philippine Association of Colleges and Universities Commission on Accreditation (PACUCOA) Team for the Quality and Sustainability Seal and Accreditation visits!

From September 15 to 16, 2026, the PACUCOA Accreditation Team, headed by Dr. Conrado E. Iñigo, Jr., conducted a series of visits across several academic programs at Our Lady of Fatima University.

As part of the visit, three OLFU programs, namely BS Medical Laboratory Science, BS Computer Science, and BS Information Technology, were evaluated for the Quality and Sustainability Seal, alongside their Level IV accreditation review.

CLASS MODALITY UPDATE
For: Thursday, 10 September 2026

ALL OLFU Campuses

Students are to attend Online Synchronous classes from their respective homes on September 10th.
Face-to-face classes on-campus are hereby suspended.

This change in learning modality follows a Malacañang declaration addressing the continued ill effects of the enhanced southwest monsoon.

For OLFU campuses with SHS exams scheduled on September 10th: Said exams will be postponed to Thursday, September 17th. Same time schedules, same venues apply.

All offices will remain open on-campus, while the OLFU Concierge will stay accessible online.

After a rigorous selection process, we are honored to officially announce the Top 3 Finalists for each category of BIDA 2026!

This year's competition brought forth an exceptional caliber of talent, vision, and innovation across all five categories. 🌟

Finalists are invited to deliver an in-person presentation during the Final Judging on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟮, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 (𝗧𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗱𝗮𝘆).

The presentation should include a prototype, sample, or demonstration of the finalist’s entry. If a physical prototype or sample is not available, the group must demonstrate or explain the actual process through which the product, service, or technology is developed or delivered.

The BIDA 2026 Secretariat will send an official invitation containing the complete details and other reminders for the Final Judging
