Matagumpay na nakiisa ang P**a Elementary School sa First Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) ngayong araw (March 12, 2026). Patuloy nating isinasabuhay ang kahandaan sa oras ng sakuna, Duck, Cover, and Hold!

“Promoting Safe Communities: Rabies Awareness Campaign Held at P**a Elementary”

In line with the celebration of Rabies Awareness Month with the theme “Rabies-Free na Pusa’t A*o, Kaligtasan ng Pamilyang Pilipino.”, a Rabies Awareness Campaign was conducted at P**a Elementary School on March 4, 2026. The activity aimed to increase the awareness of pupils and teachers about rabies prevention and the importance of responsible pet ownership.

Veterinarians from the City Health Office served as the guest speakers during the program. They discussed important information about rabies, including how the disease is transmitted, its symptoms, and the necessary steps to prevent it.

Dr. Ervin Nathaniel Ablaza from City Veterinary Office emphasized the value of responsible pet ownership. Also, Dr. Irish Marie Alvaran-Santos emphasized the importance of vaccination of dogs and cats against rabies, proper care of pets, and avoiding neglect of animals. According to them, responsible pet ownership plays a vital role in protecting the community from the spread of rabies.

Pupils actively participated in the campaign by listening attentively and asking questions about proper pet care and rabies prevention. Through activities like this, the school hopes to raise awareness among learners and promote safety and health within the community.
The Rabies Awareness Campaign is one of the initiatives of P**a Elementary School to educate pupils about health and to encourage everyone to become responsible pet owners. 🐶🐱💉
