The Caraga State Universityโ€“Cabadbaran Campus Department of Electrical Engineering (DEE), through the CSUCC Energy and Power Research and Innovation Center (CEPRIC), recently conducted the Ceremonial Energization and Turnover of Extension Project EElaw Phase 1 for ten (10) beneficiary households in Purok 5, Barangay Taod-oy, Magallanes, Agusan del Norte. The activity marked a significant milestone in the implementation of Extension Project EElaw, signifying the completion and operational readiness of the electrical installations provided to the identified beneficiary households.

The project is led by Engr. Ian C. Guday, College Extension Coordinator and Project Leader of Project EElaw, who spearheads the implementation and coordination of the project with the community, University stakeholders, and external partners. His leadership has been instrumental in bringing together the technical and extension components of the initiative, from the implementation of electrical works to the continuing community-based activities envisioned under the project.

The ceremonial activity followed the completion of final inspection, testing, and validation of the installed electrical systems to ensure their safety, functionality, and readiness for energization. The initiative seeks to promote safe, reliable, and sustainable access to electricity while strengthening the community's awareness of electrical safety, responsible energy use, and basic electrical maintenance.

The activity was attended by key University and project partners, including Engr. Blondie T. Sanchez, Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology (CEIT); Engr. Erickson A.
