Some dreams begin with a clear destination.
Others begin simply with a decision to keep going.
For Bonnie Mar H. Anino, a Bachelor in Automotive Technology graduate of Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus, Class of 2017, the road to where he is today was built one lesson, one challenge, and one step at a time.
At CarSUCC, Bonnie Mar found himself in a field where learning was not confined to books and lectures. In the workshops and classrooms, he learned to understand machines, solve problems, work with his hands, and most importantly, trust himself.
Automotive Technology became more than just a degree. It became a skill he could carry wherever life would take him.
The journey was not always easy. There were moments of uncertainty and challenges that could have made him question whether he was on the right path. But instead of allowing those moments to define him, Bonnie Mar chose to keep moving.

Looking back, he now sees that the struggles were not wasted. They became part of his preparation.
The lessons he learned from his instructors, the long hours spent learning technical skills, the hands-on training, and even the mistakes he made along the way all became pieces of the professional he would eventually become.
Among the mentors who helped shape his journey were his major subject instructors Sir Itac, Sir Calonia, Sir Cuyag, and Sir Yatan, whom he remembers with gratitude, together with the faculty and teachers of Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus.
Years after graduating, the student who once spent his days learning the fundamentals of automotive technology is now working in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, as a Workshop Leading Hand and Heavy Equipment Mechanic at CJD Equipment.
Today, he does more than repair and maintain heavy equipment. He leads a team, shares his knowledge, and carries with him the skills and values he developed during his time at CarSUCC.
For Bonnie Mar, reaching this point is not simply about working abroad or building a successful career.
It is about seeing how far a person can go when they refuse to give up on themselves.

His story reminds every student that success does not have to happen overnight. There may be days when the path feels uncertain, when progress seems slow, or when the dream feels too far away.
But every lesson counts.
Every challenge teaches something.
And every small step forward matters.
From the CarSUCC workshop to a career in the heavy equipment industry in Australia, Bonnie Mar has shown that the skills learned in school can become the foundation for a life far beyond the classroom.
He is proof that you do not have to have everything figured out at the beginning.
Sometimes, you simply have to keep going.
And eventually, you may look back and realize that every step, the difficult ones included, was bringing you closer to where you were meant to be.
Today, Bonnie Mar continues to move forward, carrying with him the lessons of CarSUCC and the pride of being a Golden Paddler.
His journey may have taken him far from Cabadbaran, but the foundation of the journey will always remain here.
Bugsay, Bonnie Mar!
From CarSUCC to the world, may your story continue to inspire every Golden Paddler who is still finding their way.
