The National Service Training Program (NSTP) of Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus, conducted its general NSTP Orientation and commenced the 25-hour Common Module on 24 August 2024 at Gymnasium, Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus, T. Curato St., Cabadbaran City in cooperation with the CSUCC Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Unit.
The orientation commenced with heartwarming welcome remarks from Mr. Urlie Anino, MS, the DRRM Head, followed by a discussion of the course outline, objectives, and benefits of the Reserved Officer Training Corps component and the Civic Welfare Training Service component by Ms. Cora Cabonce MAHE, NSTP Head.
The ROTC Coordinator, Mr. Juanito V. Celion Jr, introduced the Training Staff, including the GMA's and the Brigade Staff who will be guiding the students throughout their journey. The CSUCC ROTC Unit Chief Clerk, Sgt Armando I. Bunio (SC) PA, highlighted the advantages of joining the Advance ROTC Cadet Officer program, including scholarships and incentives provided by the Armed Forces of the Philippines.
The orientation provided a comprehensive overview of the two NSTP programs. Civic Welfare Training Service (CWTS) emphasizes community service and civic engagement, while Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) offers military training and leadership development.
